The locals can't buy it rent anything because of the high prices. They can't even live in their own town because they're are so many tourist lets. Prices have whacked up.
It started in Barcelona & now it's gone right down the coast, Tarragona, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, no wonder there is so much anti tourism sentiment. I was in Huelva last week, nobody goes there so everybody was super nice. 😂 I'd not normally agree with manipulating market forces but airbnb & aparthotels are causing social damage to a generation of Spaniards, it's not right they need to stop new & stop renewing these tourist licenses.

Great video. Its so lovely to see you both out and about. Northern Costa Blanca has some v beautiful places. Hope to see more of it. Thanks and best wishes to you both - and Jenny of course x
It they don't stop Solar Geoengineering in Spain people will just stop going on holiday. Why would anyone spend alot of money to look at a Man-made grey/white blanket almost every day. Wake up people
@@RepublicIcon They been looking at a white plastic city for more than 50 years in Almeria but people still go there, where I live there is a solar farm goes from one village to another but the farms around do not have electric.
From the first time a Brit got involved with selling property all prices have rocketed and the Spanish cottoned on. One spanish told me over 30 years ago 'no spanish will ever buy this from you', it has happened l know but it is rare.
Nice to see Moraira again. It’s a pity you didn’t have a quick look at the town on Google Earth before you set off, you would have seen there is a lovely beach 100 yards from the marina.
a bottom ground floor flat would do us but as long as no bars dioscos etc nearby were getting old and getting our pensions etc from the uk then go for it
Im looking in the region but dont want to spend anymore than 250k euro as it will be for part of the year, rent it out for remaining months. Have you spotted anywhere nice where good value for money and nice location?

Well there was me thinking last year my 400k euro would buy me a mansion with an Olympic sized pool. I've now sadly come to a conclusion just to buy a motorhome and wait for the bubble to burst. I'm seeing shoebox's being offered for 400000. Sellers are believing the agents BS.
😂😂😂 have you looked at Spains economy? It’s the second best in Europe. With people buying from all over the world to come live in Spain. It’s not bursting anytime soon. They will slow down house building to make sure it doesn’t.

@@RepublicIcon I am in Benissa now, borders Moraira. Horrible trails today. Have been coming here for 6 years now, sky is sickening since last year
Spain has ramped up geoengineering in the last 2 years yet people have forgotten how the skies were always blue before.

It all looks great, really enjoying the road trip with you! Send some lovely sunshine and heat back to Dublin 😅🙏🙏
You missed the two lovely beaches. The restaurant you said looked posh is really quite reasonably priced. Great video as always though.

Lived here for 20 years...very over priced for sub standard properties...no way worth the money
If I'd known you were visiting my wee town in Spain , I would have met you for a coffee! 😆
Not that expensive compared to Majorca where I live property is gone crazy here
Prices 5 miles inland are so much better. Orba for instance.
i wont be moving there then at those prices.looks a nice place
