Peres was truly not expecting to win. But you can never count her out. She is now the favourite for PARIS24. Having beaten Assefa the WR holder. If she is good shape she can join the potential Kenya women sweep of gold medals in 800M, 1500M, 3000SC, 5000M, 10000M . And now the marathon is possible. Well done Peres you are potentially the best marathoner of this generation.
