I fill the tiniest version of The ZigZag Book from Hahnemühle with gouache paintings! I take you along as I make small paintings and fill all 10 pages within one afternoon. In my last video I took you art supply shopping in The Netherlands, and the Zig Zag Book from Hahnemühl was one of the art supplies that I showed you. In a poll on my community page you let me know that you would like to see a video in which I fill the sketchbook, here it is! At the end of the video I do a sketchbook tour and I discuss the process and end results. Thank you for watching my video!

I loved loved loved this video. My favourite of all. I am teaching myself to draw/paint to send mail to my beloved grandchildren. They love getting my letters, and hopefully, with enough practice, I can make them a zig zag illustrated book for Christmas.

Wat een leukerds allemaal zeg! Ik ben vooral benieuwd naar welke diertjes je het volgende schetsboekje mee gaat vullen. En zo slim van jou dat je alles eerst nog eens uitschetst voor je er echt aan begint. Dat neemt al wat twijfel en denkwerk weg. Handige tip, die ga ik zeker ook meenemen. ;-) Ik hoop dat je ook nog eens vertelt hoe je hier in bent gerold, en wat je tips zijn als je wil beginnen als illustrator zoals jij! Liefs, Inge x

Was echt een fijne vlog, wat heb je daar toch talent voor, hoor! Ik vond deze heel fijn om te zien en ik hoop stiekem dat mijn vaste winkel ook de kleintjes heeft, want ik heb al een idee om te gaan doen. Al weet ik niet of het zo vlot zal gaan bij mij. Daarnaast snap ik echt je geremdheid van experimenteren tijdens het filmen. Dat is toch echt nog extra spannend om het 'goed' te doen, terwijl spelen dikwijls zo'n leuke resultaten geeft om later mee te nemen. Ik genoot en zou heel graag jouw volgende invulling van deze zien passeren, als het je lukt ;-)
Dankjewel! En ze zijn echt leuk om te maken, maar vooral ook om dan zo’n gevuld boekje te hebben en er af en toe in te kijken 😌 Zeker doen! Ik ben benieuwd wat je gaat maken.
