Hi Kathi, my name is Dianne Bosnich. I am a friend of Paula Hoogland's, & I live in Berthoud, CO. I cared for my mother-in-law who had Alzheimer's for 2 years, in 2012-2014. She then moved to a care facility & passed away within 2 months of kidney failure. She was 73. She was diagnosed probably 5 yrs before she moved in with us, so she would have been 66 yrs old... Love your vlog! Thanks for creating this community!

Kathi, I am so sorry to hear that you are walking this path. Mari's dad was diagnosed at ~65 and passed away at 74. I pray that the LORD will give you and Dave strength and courage for every day, and that you will see the LORD continuing to do mighty things through you ... as He has done over many many years. You have impacted families and individuals in life-changing ways, and I know that He can - and will - change many more lives through your story, your courage, your humility, and your obedience to His calling. Be bold, and live every moment to the full! As you walk the figurative steps up to the temple - ascending in worship - may you find comfort and reassurance in Ps. 121. It has been an incredible encouragement for Mari and me, as we walk her (our) journey with breast cancer. You and Dave are His beloved daughter and son, and He is delighted to be your heavenly Daddy.

We will stop now to say a prayer for Mari and you as you face your own struggle with cancer. We cherish every moment that God gives us on this earth, but can't wait for the day we all gather in heaven our final home

Kathi you are an amazingly beautiful and inspiring women. Thank you for being so courageous and opening up your life to all of us. My mom had Alzheimer's and also my girlfriend had a diagnosis at a young age. Doug and I are praying for you.

I love you Kathi. You are such an inspiration. My aunt recently died of Alzheimer's. She was around 80. Her younger sister, now has Alzheimer's as well. I love my aunts very much.
