The scariest monster for me is Rin, because when I play book 2, I feel like she can be in any corner when I turn Also my favourite monster is the Ringmaster and my least favourite is the chapter 2 kusonoki, just because he only appears for like 1 minute and his part is very easy
The ones that scare me the most today are for sure Kazeko, Sama, Shaku and Shizu. Sama is the one who caused everything we see in the game and she just wants to deceive you and have control of you. And for Kazeko, i've never read her story so i dont know about it, but her footsteps and noise sound so agressive, and since i have megalophobia a monster that seemed huge in the game and that if existing would be like the average size of a house ( in my opnion ) i fear her a lot. Also idk if it was my mind deceiving me but one night, after spending the start of the day playing TWT i heared her noise at night coming from the outside of my house. And for Shaku, me and my friend saw something in the streets in various places that had exactly the same face as Shaku. We saw it two times on a little house made of plastic on a playground for the kids in my residential and one time in the window, and one time in my city's club. We find the window time the creepiest... When it happened we were playing something on roblox ( i dont remember if it was mm2 or granny ) that my friend picked but we played chapter 2 early that day and the last monster we beat was Shaku. Also the club time was frightening, because at the same time we saw this thing we saw a statue that moved while we didn't look at it, and this is why i fear Shizu. We still have no names to the statue but we call the Shaku-like thing noiseless and whenever i draw her i use Shaku as the reference.
Lol the ones that scared me the most first time playing are Megumi, Kuriko, as this is my first horror experience they scared me a lot, since Megumi has a very long neck and when i walked by the street with a friend that played this game with me we saw much things following us by the streets wich looked like her. Kuriko scared us because of the way she walked. We expected her to just appear from the dark and run after us.
Biwaki was actaully a Daughter a puppet of sama the daugther of kaito and niko kaito is her father the friend and cousin of kuriko her sister is mihari the sister and biwaki was being controlled by kintoru bcuz of the biwa that her father brought home was cursed
My favourite monster was gozu and mezu l know their in book 3 but their my favourite monsters in the mimic like yes you may not know what their like and what they do ? What do you guys think about them 🤔

Sama is the scariest for me. The chase theme. Her dark aura. Her first appearance. And she's even more scarier when you know more about her lore
