Speed profile wheels are also an advantage for speed due to less rolling resistance having less contact with the skating surface. Conversely when cornering with a speed profile there will be more surface area in contact with the ground giving more grip, which is essential at high speeds. my 1996/97 k2 soulslide had 72 mm hyper flat boys , very stable , the skates are still sleeping in my garages (in 2008, i got some seba high deluxe) sometimes i wonder if i wouldn t do a oldschool revival and take them back out but i guess the bearings are dead long ago.

Flat wheels are best for bigger jumps. They distribute impact much better.

once the wheels wear down, should I want to have pointy wheels or more rounded wheels?

Even though no experience from this video and others I feel go with round but if want a bit more speed go pointy and it only bit more as less grip on road on the point so roll better

Mijn wielen van mijn skates slijten heel hard ! En bij mijn vrienden die evenveel skaten niet hoe komt dat ?

Milo, het kan aan een paar zaken liggen.
- kwaliteit van de wielen die je gebruikt
- slechte lagers
- misschien ben je veel zwaarder dan je vrienden (niet onaardig bedoeld)
- misschien rij jij anti-rocker (2 wielen per skate ) en je vrienden flat ( 4 wielen per skate)
- de ondergrond waar jij skate en je vrienden niet (denk aan slecht asfalt bijvoorbeeld)

Het kan ook liggen aan de hardheid van de wielen. Zo heb je zachte en harde wielen. Zachte wielen slijten veel sneller maar vind ik comfortabeler om mee te skeeleren. Met zachte wielen heb je ook meer grip. Alleen slijt het dus wel sneller

Maar ik ben er achter gekomen dat ik heel veel T stops maak en zij niet 🙃

Sounds like what I looked at £30-60 for just 2 wheels, think some was £30 a wheel but as looking at ones that light up
