As a somewhat newbie I have become addicted to learning from your videos. I came across a small company of 24 people whivh had some users.on E3 for the encryption (and not sure why else). Another video idea might be the uses of E3 vs Premium.
Great content as usual. Please keep them coming, they're very useful. You mention businesses with more than 300 users have to go for M365 Enterprise licenses. My understanding is any firm can purchase Business licenses, however, they're designed for SME and capped at 300 licenses. That said, no matter the size of the organisation, you can still mix Business and Enterprise licenses (ie: 300 x BP licenses and 200 x E5 licenses).
Thanks for sharing, Jonathan. Actually, I don't mind having 2 hours of detail explanation on the features available in each plan. :D I will wait for more video like this from you. Cheers!
Hey Jonathan great video! Let me ask you this: We are a small Startup with about 40 users who work with the biggest enterprise F500 customers, we wish to manage everything in MS (MDM, Azur SSO, EDR/XDR, Security Awernace, and more) are recommended to me to move into E5 from Business Premiom or not?
E5 has lots more features for sure. But for example; we recommend a 3rd party product for cyber awareness. We also use a 3rd MDR company rather than Microsoft So for me and a business your size, business premium and a couple of 3rd party extras could be the answer.
Hi Jonathan, I am doing a university project that aims to help a business with 5000 employees become more digitalised as they begin hybrid work. Does E5 actually cost 52 pounds per user and if so, what would you recommend the choose to implement?
Nice job always But can you also be including the product prices in USD ($) considering Microsoft is an American company and that the USD is globally accepted. Thanks.
Hey mate an idea for another video might be the really dry subject of licence compliance 🤪 always a grey area when you’ve got business prem and basic on the one tenant and the basic users are taking advantage of the email filtering, Entra conditional access etc. I’m pretty certain Microsoft’s stance is each user must be licenced correctly. Be interested in your take on this 👍
So I use business premium for most users and hand full has e5. What would be the best idea to give the business premium so more security for saas? As e5 is a lot of everyone

Yes, you are correct and I should have made that clearer.
Over 300 users you can use a mix of licenses
