I was so glad when I saw so many people in Cannes for IU ❤️Unfortunately IU is not so well known in the most part of Europe... At least in Italy, where kpop and kdrama are not so popular... But I think things are slowly changing. When she came to Milan for the Fashion Week, there weren't many people waiting for her... but it was good for me (😝), because I managed to meet her and leave her a small gift (I didn't have the courage to ask her for an autograph or to disturb her in any other way, but it remains one of the most beautiful memories of my life). I hope that with this tour, and maybe with the new drama on Netflix, people in Europe will start to know her more 😍😍😍🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
IU said that she never thought that she would have so many fans in France and that this was the most amazing experience for her. She also tried to sign autographs and take pictures with them as much as possible, as she usually does. It was her first time participating in the Cannes Film Festival as an actress, so she must have been nervous and tired herself, but she never forgot her good heart for her fans. She is an amazing person.
As a french, and to be able to attend this Cannes event, and finally see her that close on that day and even get an album signed it felt like a moment out of time ! She was incredibly gorgeous, and we were a lot of Uaenas only screaming her name to the point she felt it was a prank somehow. She was shocked and happy, and i'm glad if it helped her to see she has fans all over the world. Hopefully one day she'll come back again. Broker was an amazing and touching movie, and this whole era will always be stuck in my mind. She deserved all the love.
