Thank you for sharing your feelings about the Ukrainian war. I am one that is deeply interested and concerned about it and cannot imagine what it is like to be in Poland with personal contacts that are involved. You are right, you did what you could when it was needed and that has to be enough. Being so far (USA) I try and donate when I can. I have "met" a lot of interesting Ukrainians on Twitter and TH-cam. I do art journaling so have a lot of art with my words that I am not comfortable sharing. Someday someone may look at my journals and wonder why this war has disturbed me so much. I don't think I have ever seen any other artist express their feelings about it other than Ukrainians who are neck deep in it so I thank you for doing so.
I have always had an affinity with Ukrainian people, and I am not sure why. Have you ever listened to Ukrainian folk music? Hands down one of the most melodious and beautiful things to listen to. Sometimes we just connect with other cultures and people - part of being a human. I think in this particular war, more people saw themselves in it, I think we are less desensitised to wars in Europe. I think it's an experience that will haunt me till my dying day. All we can do is our best, thank you for doing your best. Thank you for sharing so openly with me too.
I loved this flip through and seeing how your evolved and your own style came through. And I love all the little windows and the way you connect them to create a continuous narrative story. Very cool!
