I like what the butler said about writing personal notes to thank your host. I always do that. My mom taught me. My other comment about that is ‘don’t wait too long after the event’. I’ve collected stationary since I was a teen. On my first visit to London in 1998 I bought my first fountain pen at a lovely pen shop in the Burlington Arcade. Started a long obsession with pens. My favorite company is Conway Stewart. Writing notes with a beautiful fountain pen is an experience in to itself. Lovely episode. Thank you

We use picture command hooks for all our art work. I’ve always refused to put nails into our walls. They hold extremely heavy frames and you can’t see them. So easy and no holes in your walls!!

I really enjoyed this video of yours featuring Grant and Jack, Josie. I've been interested in etiquette for many years now, and it always fascinates me because it is useful to understand how to conduct yourself in certain situations and feels like an opportunity to see into our history's past. I also think in contemporary life, so much of our conduct and habits are quite casual and free from rules (think of eating dinner on the couch while watching TV); however, I think it's invaluable to understand etiquette because there will always be a time where it will need to be implemented and it's important to have such knowledge tucked in your tool chest, so to speak. Thanks again, and I vote for another visit from both of them in the future!

House plants would look lovely too and maybe more fabrics such as leather armchairs and carpets. Just an idea 😂

My property is.. a small flat, so I only have a present box 😄 it’s filled with little things that can serve as last minute gifts. Like hand creams from nice brands, scented candles, nice hair clips and so on. I also like to ad them to birthday presents if I don’t know the person that well and gift them a voucher or money. 😄
