I stayed here for six days recently. Absolutely beautiful place. I went to the local surf shop and talked about the spearfishing laws. No spearfishing here it is against the law in Laguna and frowned upon, a whopping $2000 fine. Guess I'll just have to scuba dive it. Just not the same as spearfishing though. Maybe I'll check out Dana point and San Clemente next time.
heisler park is just to the left of divers cove right? where did you enter the water from? my buddy and I are going to be diving laguna a lot and wanted to dive heisler park but it seems that the only way is to swim around to it from divers cove. are there any easy entry (like shaws or divers) to heisler park?
just a queation i am scared of allot of things and i'm going to aliso beach today in laguna beach california i'm planning of going in the water but not far (for i am a very weak swimmer) and would i find these critters swimming around me cuz i really don't like finding fish, rays, things that look like catfish without wiskers, etc. would i? please answer cuz i am leaving in a few hours

That is one busy place down there -- it's like an underwater Times Square!
Great footage -- mesmerizing! You did all that free diving?
