Nothing major happens in the episode you missed but its a decent episode, you will need to watch all of the other specials though...I think I told you just in time....they are called Christmas specials but they are not all focused on that holiday...they just aired it at christmas time.
15:30 - Del is basically trying to speak French. He literally knows about 3 words/phrases and uses them all wrong in most episodes. He thinks it makes him seem sophisticated. In that scene he's speaking too a girl who actually knows a fair bit of French for once, and he's talking complete nonsense of course. Winging it! I like to think that maybe she was only semi fluent and thought that maybe SHE didn't quite understand hence her describing him as 'the little French fella' which always makes me laugh lol. It's like a double joke. PS - I had a massive crush on her watching this for the first time when I was young
Bro keep them coming please , love watching on way to work , your a legend ,lived in Peckham growing up , Nags head it top of Rye lane but not one in this show , gotta come Peckham have a pint in Nags head
6:04 Trigger and Boycie both appear in Benidorm (2007-2018). Roger Lloyd-Pack (Trigger) filmed 2 scenes before he became ill and was forced to pull out, and be replaced with Geoffrey McGivern. Therefore he only appeared as a cardboard cut-out if I remember correctly. However John Challis (Boycie) appeared in 15 episodes of Benidorm.
Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney) tells a story about Lennard Pearce (Grandad), in which Lennard Pearce as a young man was acting with a theatrical group touring Germany in the 30’s. One performance was attended by senior members of the N@zi Party, after the performance the group were introduced to the senior party officials and shook hands with them…including Hitler, Lennard Pearce then informed Nicholas Lyndhurst that not taking the opportunity to k!ll Hitler, was a regret.
@@danielgardecki1046 yeah but the episode his referring to is this one, when the trotters went to Benidorm which was around 1982-83, hence 25 years before Benidorm was on the air, you see my point
At first the bbc was being cheap with only fools and horse by the running time lucky I think the writer and del told the bosses they want more time cause they used to make so much content but so much had to be cut cause of running time but the bbc finally said yes and we started getting longer episodes

I can safely say this was released way before Benidorm were filming 😅, loving these reactions bro and seeing new people discover this gem of a show!
I just wait every day for these lol
Forgot how funny this episode is, the line by grandad saying us trotters never made good sailors is very true as you’ll find out in later series 😂
Bit of foreshadowing there haha 😂
Just thinking same thing 😂 🛶
Dont forget theres some special episodes, can easily find them out online and what order to watch them 😃 Miami Twice is my fave special

Another 12 more episodes, and you get to meet Uncle Albert, the Late Great Buster Merryfield. Looking forward to it

22:02 ‘Us Trotters have never made good sailors’.
HA! You have no idea yet why that line is so funny.
Unfortunately Benidorm came out 25 years after only fools, this is in the early 80s Benidorm came out in the late 2000s
OFAH - ended 2003.
Benidorm - started 2007.

@@danielgardecki1046you know what he meant
@@danielgardecki1046 Very little similarity between Only Fools in the 80s and the pile of mawkish shite it was by 2003
Only Fools & Horses 1981 - 2003
Benidorm 2007 - 2018
Love your reactions to these. This one and the next one are two of my favourites x
Perfect timing! 🤗
Del is trying to speak fremch but is actually using French, Spanish and German words at the same time thinking he’s making sense
Grandad's finest moment
Del cant speak a word of french. He thinks he can, the woman at the bar could actually speak french lol.
He makes every french word up, its nonsense😅
Benidorm is much newer
You don't know if this show and Benidorm were on at the same time? Come on man we're talking decades not years of difference!
4 years difference.
@@danielgardecki1046 I don't know what you think you are achieving by trying to be clever.25 year difference (minimum)
@@danielgardecki1046get a grip fella
@@rikspilz4991 It's 4 years between the last ep of Only Fools and first ep of Benidorm
