Very useful reviews, thank you. I am 5'2" and have the Adnina in extra small and the sleeves are OK for me so they should be perfect for you. I bought the Tobias in Storm Blue and the colour is much more how you would imagine storm blue and is less greenish than it looks on the website, a really nice jumper and also the Damien which is very pretty, love the gold metallic detailing. And more coming out tomorrow - my wallet is taking a battering!

@@SwanSow I haven't worn it for very long yet but it's not itchy round my neck. I usually wear a T shirt or something under my jumpers and I think I will with Tobias as I suspect the sleeves may be itchy after a while.

These knits with mohair all shed - I showed a close up of some of them (I personally love the hair sticking out of the sweater but I know a lot of people hate it 😂). It gets better over time, after washing them, using a cashmere comb or just after a lot of wear. Someone suggested using a hair spray on it, which according to her works well, but I personally never attempted 🙊
I purchased the Henria sweater and was so excited for it but unfortunately Sezane sent me the wrong knit. I will need to go through the return process now and try to order again. I agree though that it is very unique and I love the color
Hi Mila, thank you for your video. I love Sezane knits and your reviews help a lot. (I have two Bettys so far :) , I am sure this is not the end of my Bettys collection). Could you please make a video, or just comment how you take care of knits? Especially the ones you wear with no layers underneath. That’s a ton of dry cleaning I guess. Is there a way to freshen them up without massive dry cleaning bills?

I found the Louis rosewood to be pretty dull -- I sometimes wonder if on the website they are increasing the saturation or something on their photos and making the colors look more intense.
I love how the Stacy looks! Might have to give that one a go. Looks like tomorrow's color palette is purple and blue, so maybe they will come out with some of these in those colors. Tons of lavender though, and I don't think that flatters me much unfortunately! ☺️

Yes Sezane is known for using having filters on their photos, everything looks warmer, sometimes brighter. It’s hard to get the right color on camera , editing it to make identical is so challenging but they’re a company and should definitely pay attention to that to avoid so many returns. I tried my best here to show the real color (that’s why sometimes the rest of the image doesn’t look right, adjusting one thing changes everything else 🙊)
Agree with tomorrow’s drop, oh gosh our poor wallet 💸 I did return most of these though (kept Stacy and Henria) so tomorrow I’ll be getting a few more to try and share over here! The lavender color is not for me but I know other colors are there waiting for us 🤣

I actually returned Andina 🤎 I love it so much and the color and texture are amazing, but the sleeves were way too long on me. I might try the XS and see! I did keep the burgundy and the one I’m wearing in the video ☺️

Hi Monica 🌺 I have Angie and it’s amazing, mine is the beige one from last year, I do have a review :) I never tried Federica because the color would be terrible on me 😂, but it’s a beautiful sweater and if they make it in other colors I’ll definitely give it a try! I’m totally keeping Stacy, it’s so pretty and cozy 🤍

Andina is amazing and I want to try in XS, Louis is pretty and so comfortable but not for me I think. I wouldn’t get a lot of wear out of it, especially in this color. Sezane knits are breathtaking, I wish I could keep all of them! 😛 I ordered the vintage blue Angelie yesterday and can’t wait to see it in person. Did you get something or taking a break? :)

Thank you for the video, Mila! This fall's selection of knits is amazing, though I feel like I say this every fall! I already bought the Anaelle and the Louis last week-end, both in rosewood too. I love the Anaelle and I really like the way the Louis feels, but I am going back and forth on keep it because of the ruffles on the neck-line, which are not my favorites. Right now I am trying to avoid putting in another order because the new releases this week-end were really pretty.

Some of the lower cut knits would go well over a tank top or a camisole. The Manea top is interesting because in your hands you can really see the colors and the image of the print. But on a person, the pattern seems to fade into the background. Then you turned around and you could see the pattern again.

I tried on Anaella and Manea, both way too itchy for me. However I thought the print of Manea is beautiful so maybe I will try it on something else.
Yes Manea is crazy itchy but I didn’t find Anaelle scratchy! I’m not the most sensitive to wool but most Sezane knits that have mohair/alpaca feel quite scratchy on my skin. Not the same style, but these are super comfortable (with wool): James, Louis, Louise, Lyna, Betty, Othello, Otis, Sami.. of course the cottons options are great too, but I personally love their styles in wool!
@@milainnewyork I got Lyna, Betty and Sami and yes, they are great. I am very sensitive and develop contact dermatitis with a lot of things so it is a bit frustrating that I cannot wear a lot of their pretier styles. One that surprised me though was the Angelie. I tried it thanks to you, and you were correct it is very soft, no itch at all.

I'm not sure what I should do; I ordered Andina in medium, I'm 5'7" and I have really broad shoulders (40 cm), so I usually have to buy large for my top wear, but I knew from the pictures the cardigan would be large so I downsized. But it's still too large, and I don't think I've ever fit a small cardigan, so I'm really not sure what to do.

Louis is so pretty and comfortable, the color is amazing but I find it more muted in real life than on the website (looks warmer and brighter on the website).
I think the color could work for medium/dark skin tone, it depends on your undertone and how bright/dull your skin is I think. I didn’t like it on me, it brought out all the yellow and olive I have on me. The camera adjusted it but in real life I was not looking great 😂

@@sectoudie1820 I wear my usual size for the Uniqlo shirt, size Small! It’s a good fit, not too tight or loose.
I rarely wear M for tops because my bust is 36B and I’m not that tall. I size up for very specific knits just when I want to wear as a jacket (like Betty cardigan) or if I want a super oversized look :)

I purchased the burgundy one that you love and are keeping but unfortunately for me, I'm 5'3" and the V was far too low. I could not have worn it without wearing something underneath and for me that ruined the sweater as I wanted to wear it fitted without an undergarment. I thought about sizing down but it would not have worked due to my body type.
It’s so beautiful, isn’t it? It’s a shame the V neck is so low, I personally like it but I knew it would bother most people.
I wouldn’t wear for work for example, so definitely more limiting than my other knits. I agree with you regarding wearing something underneath - I can’t think of a piece that would look nice paired with it without ruining the look. 🤦🏻♀️ Maybe a silk cami top in similar shade? Just thinking, but I feel the sweater alone would be the best indeed. So hard to make choices, their knits are the best and you’re right, such a good investment because of the quality and how long they last. All my Sezane knits look and feel new even after years wearing and washing them!

I just got my first Sezane knitwear pieces and am very disappointed, they’re all extremely itchy, especially around the neck. I’ll have to wear a silk turtleneck or big scarf around the neck under them, which severely limits their versatility and styling options. I’m not sure if it’s the mohair, alpaca or synthetic fibers that are causing the problem, but I won’t order knits from them again unless they’re 100% cotton, merino wool or cashmere. I tolerate the last two ok, with silk shirts or tees underneath, but the skin on my neck is just to sensitive for the other fibers. Everything I heard about the super-itchiness of Sezane’s knits is true. It’s a shame, their styles are so cute. Their striped-knit top is a flop, too, it has bracelet-to 3/4-length, not long, sleeves, but didn’t say so in the description. My arms get cold in the winter and adding arm warmers is not for me.
Oh no, I’m sorry! I’m wondering which ones you got. Some of their mohair pieces are super itchy indeed, same for alpaca (the scratchy feel is not from the synthetic fibers). From these I reviewed today, the ecru is super soft (but not around the “lace” area). The burgundy and the rosewood are similar composition, but also very soft. Some pieces in wool you can get and won’t be scratchy are: James, Louis, Amiel, Othello, Amance, Betty, Louise, Sami and Otis (these all have wool in their composition). They do have some really nice cotton options too but I do feel that the prettiest styles are in mohair/alpaca :(
