Destiny 2 OOB: Deep Dives: Audience (Secret Mission?)

- We've managed to find some hidden stuff in Deep Dives. Is is part of a mission? Exotic quest? Normal Deep Dives? We just don't know...

I'd recommend a Titan for this one. You can do it solo, but if you don't want to do the fallback method, I'd bring a buddy for a Hub IRB for load zone safety. For the fallback you'll need Salvation's Grip and Stasis.

In the seasonal triumphs it mentions completing 'an' encounter at abyss depth, which implies there may be multiple encounters at abyss depth. So maybe each week we can complete secrets (like the taken orb for tier 3 rewards) to access more areas and more bosses. The audience chamber potentially being the final room once you complete every encounter
Would be pretty neat. I'm excited to see how Deep Dives expands. Will there be different starting areas? I just don't know currently.
10:22 Looks more like the chamber of night from destiny 1 dark below. Even has the same similar bone structure. Go look at screenshots of the chamber of night mission. Both of these areas have a weird leviathan/worm god looking bone structure of sorts.
Well one they about destiny is they LOOOOVE their reskins whether it's guns or Map assets
Well we finally see this room in use, and features the same kind of ritual with Wizards.
It’s been a while Spence we’ve seen one of those mysterious statues. I wonder what the significance of this one will be. Excited to find out!
There's one in the root of nightmare raid, which is a bit odd seeing as it's the Witness' own personal ship. So I guess we'll find out more?

The veiled statues or the "mysterious statues" are the "gardener" which is the biological body or person form of the traveller and is rumored to be in the traveller. the gardener was a being before time existed, there was a second being called the winnower. the gardener and the winnower were 2 beings playing with reality and testing its limits pretty much, the lore piece that covers this does not go too much farther, the winnower is the witness supposedly seeing as we don't have any other characters in the game that would fit the profile. A gardener is one who plants, a winnower is a person who removes chaff from the grain. What this could mean is that the gardener (the traveller) would have planted the universe and started it and the winnower (the witness) removing the chaff or removing what it deems as unnecessary or in its way.
Could be wrong since this is all just lore that is not really touched upon too much but if anyone has something to disprove this please do let me know!

@@caribou0200 it most certainly does. look at my other comment., and look at the pictures in these links. The nightmare crota area was three times the size. This matches chamber of night, and similarly in lore, a worm bone structure.

friendly reminder that we still have another exotic coming this season, being a scout strand rifle.
(proof is easily seen as there's an unknown 1st slot exotic and an unknown scout rifle ornament that was leaked with veist and green string regalia)

Froggy! I love your videos, wondering if you plan on breaking out of the beginning of Gotd? Hoping we are able to get into those rooms you see underground or maybe reveal some secrets with the tank that can spawn.
I've heard that there's a sparrow breach, or that you can just do a fallback, and beyond that it's open all the way to the boss area. I bit disappointing in terms of a fun route to the end, but perhaps there will be neat out of map spots along the way.

seems like the same statue as the one in the europan pyramid during the wq campaign. bigger and having more of a resonant texture compared to the smaller black ones like on the moon and in the garden

Dotslashfrag did a lot of the heavy lifting here. I was too busy with Last Wish shenanigans earlier in the season...
In general, you sorta get a feel for where there are likely load zones out of map. Dotslashfrag's video briefly comments on that. From there you just sorta rub all around where you'd expect the load to happen, generally somewhere without direct line of sight to the open area. It gets much harder to know a load exists in map when an area is heavy in name masking. But there are some other tells, like sudden map changes in terrain, or sometimes lighting. You also put your ghost away on a load. I think that's still true in the wacky masked extended sort of loads?
Im ocd and i cant understand getting mad about the keys, i would legit just move them to whatever place they normally leave them and be like hey put your keys in your favorite spot 😂
Hey froggy, I'm a bit upset that we can't patrol on Titan... That made me think, in one of the missions for this season, we spawn in the same area as the savathun song strike "starting area", there was an easy oob there, sadly I'm not buying this season, could you please check if the oob exists and if there are anything left from old titan?
I saw Bachmanetti running around inside of one of the building things on the big red supports, which heavily reminded me of some of the old oobs there. I doubt there's any of the old zones, but I did save that mission on my Titan. I still haven't looked at the 6 player areas much.
Also good to note we are quite early into this new season and still much to be done as far as missions go on a week to week basis. Perhaps some of this is quest related to an exotic as previously mentioned by others. Perhaps is side missions related to the main mission helping Sloane connect to Asha. I guess we shall see. Either way this was quite fun to watch.

Based on what you found in season of the Seraph, I'm guessing this is another legendary mission. There is a exotic kinetic weapon that is still unavailable in collections, and this looks like a pretty "exotic" local.
The thing is, it's a lot smaller than other exotic missions. Harbinger was huge, and meandering. Presage was between the size of a Strike and a Dungeon. Seraph Station was about the length of a Dungeon... If this is just that Labyrinth and the chamber you showed at the end, then it's significantly smaller than the other three.
Which leads me to wonder if either there is more out there that you didn't find, or if this is also tied to the deep dives. Like maybe if you complete all challenges of the dive at the max difficulty tier, then you get pulled in here?
I hope they don't just put us in that one space for 30min. It's cool space, but not THAT cool lol.

Don't forget, there's a lot of Deep Dive activity before this. You have to dunk 3 hive statues and then this area become accessible
@@SushiJuice I didn't know that at the time. None of us did. Now that it's live, it's obvious that it's tuned to be part of the dive not its own separate thing.
At the time I made the post, I thought that it would be it's own thing that used the Deep Dive play space without being an actual "Deep Dive".

Nice to see more people finding this. I managed to get to Kudazad's boss room at the buttom of the map as well as these 2 rooms on Thursday night. The Crota remake room belongs to Kelgorath and secret area is for an exotic quest. Probably this new exotic glaive people are talking about.

Hey frog the room with the plate and rib cage bone is from the moon exact layout from D1 when they tried to respawn crota and oryx took an ogre. Fun fact

You probably already know it but you can get outside of the new dungeon on the first boss encounter. Jump un top of the door placed where the dps phase starts then jump un the ledge above it and walk either side to get out.
I actually haven't done any exploring there yet. I'm a bit behind on other videos I plan to make XD

Props to you man, I have a huge fear of going in deep uncharted water and a small fear of going out of bounds in video games when you're not supposed to... so long story short I'd be having an absolute panic attack trying to do what you just did lol
Hehe. This season is definitely going to be a bit hard on the thalassophobia crew. Luckily I only start getting slight waves of that in person.

hey froggy. is there a way to the final statue from the labyrinth that doesnt require sword ammo? i had to use too much salvations grip when blocking the spawn earlier and i cant gain any sword ammo as it is already too little
Oof. You might be able to get by with Stasis supers. If your Salvation's Grip ammo starts getting low, you can always swap to sword early, regen, and swap back to Salvation's, but if that's early enough in the route, might just be faster to grab a flag on Salvations for more total ammo.
If you could stasis climb around the map edges that would work, but idk if that's doable.
@@Froggy618157725 unfortunately i had to leave for IRL stuff but i made it to the small ledge near the section where you sword fly underneath. i was able to almost make it using glacial super. its definitely doable, i just ran out of time. might try another time

I achieve to not die once when i tried method at 8:14 but i cannot succes again. Anyone knows a better method to not die and load the next zone while in solo ?
The fallback method works and gets you to a place you can get out of map. If you want you can climb back up afterwards. You just need to bring Salvations Grip along.

How did you refresh ur heavy?
Low reserves when alive, high reserves when dead. Ideally a sword that has multiple ammo sort of perks to swap between.
@@Froggy618157725 Does not compute. My ammo doesn't regen for anything except specials and only when reserves are super low.
You alter the ammo perk on the sword to be low ammo when alive, and swap to high ammo after dying. For instance, Jagged edge to Enduring Blade. Doesn't work well for crafted swords since you'd only have backup mag to play with.

Not the biggest deal, but you mention that there are going to be spoilers for locations --- but you put the biggest spoiler of the video in the thumbnail. You might want to change that.
Yeah, it's a bit close to the line. If it didn't look about the same as all the others I certainly wouldn't have. A statue of the deep in season of the deep didn't seem too surprising to me. I'm more excited about gameplay implications of the area before it, which is quite a bit more unique.

Seasons are likely finished or close to finished in their entirety before they start. At some point back in the day, they did drop like whole seasons content at once and people would complain about there not being enough the rest of the time. They're looking to find the balance.
@@Froggy618157725 Seasons are completed 2 seasons ahead of the current one as per Bungie. Drip feed is in place to maintain week over week player count metrics.
Tirtha Bind, The Drowning, Audience…those sound like some interesting names. Can’t wait to see what happens here, especially in the presence of that golden Darkness statue! Now that I think about it, that “Audience” area looks an awful lot like the recent “controversial artwork plagiarism” image that Bungie used directly from a fan’s artwork submission!

If this is spoilery, blurring wouldn't help. Outline of a darkness statue is still a darkness statue. Looks pretty much the same as the 4-5 we've already seen. I suppose the color is different, but at the distance I took the screenshot makes that unclear.
@@Froggy618157725 the darkness statues with the circle above it have only been seen with bright red lights around it, so this is immediately unique. the issue is the thumbnail and the title make it clear that this is a future area we'll visit in the season, which is spoilers.
