I am not sure if I’m getting your question. Anyway you can use HDMI, RCA or VGA depending what ports your projector has then connect the source of the video you wanted to project.

I had to find "Smartview" first to find the Leisure470 sync in my S21. It was not on my pull down home screen like shown here.
That’s great. Thanks for the info. Different phones should be able to find it or turn on their screen sharing according to their phone as long as it has a screen sharing feature.
I am not familiar with s21 but I do have an older phone s10plus and the shortcut for Smartview is when I swiped down 2x then swiped to the left and I there you will find the Smart view.
Please help me where is smartview
For most of android, please swipe down or up 2x, then you might have to swipe to the left until you find it.
Hi, what cable do you suggest I buy to connect my Android (type C cable) phone to a projector and get it to play movies from Netflix? I’ve read some reviews that say I should get HDMI to type C but there were also some reviews that said it doesn’t work with Netflix. It’s a little bit confusing 🤯 hope you could help!
In my opinion, you rather buy a chrome cast or any casting device so you can connect Netflix, you tube, prime videos, etc wirelessly to the projector.

I dont understand, some people are saying theres copyrights that wont let you stream through a projector or that you need a streaming stick but you are able to just cast your phone directly to the projector?
Just give it a try. Just a heads up both the phone and the projector need to have a screen mirroring capabilities to be able to do this otherwise you need to buy a casting device to cast video to a projector with a phone wirelessly like a chrome cast th-cam.com/video/xW8XUulhl7c/w-d-xo.html
I don't have the screen sharing options on input mode, how do I do that
Please check if your projector has that feature as not all the projector supports screen sharing. If in case yours doesn’t have it, you will have to get a casting device like chrome cast so you can watch netflix, prime, etc wireless from your phone.
where does one find the file sharing on their phone cause I have the s22 untra and I cant find it even tho it should be there??

I can screen sharing android to my Projector. But for example when I try to play videos on netflix or Prime, does not play Image, only text..do you know why? I can go throught all menus on netflix and prime, but when I choose something and hit Play, only Image on projector ( on my phone is okay). dont know why..
I heard about Netflix and Prime have set restrictions to some areas. Since you are already using and android, yet it's not letting you screen mirror to the projector, your option is to get a chrome cast or other casting device to connect to your projector then connect to your phone.

Again this is as per experience, I used my Old LG G5 and it works fine. Please note not all devices are capable of screen sharing as well as projector. On the other if you buy a chrome cast even both your device and projector doesn’t have screen sharing feature, you will be able to wach netflix or prime videos wirelessly.
What's the range - how close does the phone have to be to the projector for it to connect and mirror the screen?
Not sure if my estimate was right , it’s over 20ft, I just went to the other room to test it. Perhaps the walls are blocking the signal as well as I haven’t tried it yet from an open area.

Does your projector has screen Mirroring feature as not all projector has it? Go to your input and it should be there if you have it.
How you change from ios system to android on the projector?
This type of projector does change automatically from IOS to Android. Sometimes I have to reboot the projector or the android phone for it to change.
I got it already I just push the play button for 2 seconds and it changes to Android version 👍

You do know that you can skip the advert on prime to go to the actual film by touching the screen and on the bottom is the skip button 😉

Everyone I watch these videos they don't detail detail show me if I can get right to share what to do but your stuff was already in so u just did this n did that I can't do that
What projector and phone do you have as not all projector have screen mirroring feature however most of the phones have screen sharing nowadays. You still have option though. You can buy a chrome cast to connect to your projector so you can watch movies wirelessly from your phone to projector.

Are you sure it has wifi feature? What’s the model of your projector if you don’t mind?
You have to turn on first your Vankyo then set to screen sharing. Open your phone or tablet make sure your wifi is on. Try to refresh your wifi as well. Then select it from there. My old android as I used in this video, as long as your wifi is on, I just went to screen sharing on my phone then it’s connected to the projector.

If you can’t find the file sharing in the Input setting, unfortunately not all projector has screen sharing function. If no screen sharing, I suggest using a chrome cast, any cast or apple tv through HDMI port and connect from there
I'm experiencing buffering via screen projector but not on my phone
I’m not really that technical. However that happens to me when my phone is far from the projector like my projector in my living room while my phone was in the bedroom.
Does it work with Samsung galaxy s20?
Since Samsung Galaxy s20 has screen mirroring capabilities, it should work on this projector.

Connection from this phone to projector is though screen sharing not through wifi. The phone itself is connected to wifi to access Netflix, prime or you tube videos

If you meant you want to connect the device you want to use for screen sharing to your projector and that device does not have internet connection to watch for example netflix or prime video. You would connect like normal- Iike connecting to a wifi available and could be from another device that has data or internet connection.
What about rca projector
Not sure coz RCA Projector has different models. Best is to check the specifications of your projector if it supports screen sharing.

Did you connect your phone to the projector using screen sharing then make sure your phone has internet connection either wifi or has data to be able to access Netflix.

My projector used to do that, but now it just says "no signal" no matter what.
Did you by chance, uninstalled the screen sharing option or smart view or something like that coz you won’t be able to reinstall it as per my mini research. It says for the new android phones now, no more screen sharing option so you up will need to connect a chrome cast or casting device to watch Netflix or prime wirelessly from your phone to by your projector. However I’m not 100% sure about that info about no more Screen sharing on the newer android as I only have the Samsung s10 plus right now which an older phone.
@@jenuds It doesn't give an option to connect to anything. I can switch it to HDMI, USB, screen mirroring, or anything else. But it only says no signal.

That is true. Sometimes I have yo wait for few minutes, sometimes I have to reboot the projector or my phone or Sometimes I have to try a few times before it works. To avoid this issue, I suggest to use chromecast for both ios and android or apple tv for iOS. With either of these 2 devices, streaming is very smooth.

@@dorate100 I am sorry to hear that. I know It’s not easy to connect. You need to have some patience to connect them, try many times or try connecting other gadget. This is why I advised to use a casting device to connect to the projector if possible like chrome cast, apple tv, etc to avoid that issue.

Screen sharing option is found in the input setting. There should be a screen sharing option if you have the same kind of projector. I think not all projector has screen share option however there is other way to screen share of you connect a chrome cast, any casting device or apple tv.

May I know what’s the name of your projector and the device you’re using for casting. As far as I know not all projector has screen sharing function. I am not very techky person, if you are watching netflix or you tube, most probably it’s the internet speed. Turn off the gadget that you don’t need in your house.
Tbh any over the air connection is likely to be a bit patchy, it's better in my opinion to use a firestick or chrome cast

How do I connect it to internet
Your phone only need a wifi or data to be able to access videos like from netflix or you tube. Then you screen share to the projector. Please remember not all projector and older phones have screen sharing function.

I understand. Sometimes it takes a while before it changes from iOS to android. If you can buy a something like chrome cast it helps too.

That’t weird. I should try a few times or try to turn off and on the projector then try connecting again with amazon prime movie. Or try another android device.

Other option is use a casting device like chrome cast or any cast. I would also try to download it first then play, see if it works.

Most likely it’s about Netflix/prime is blocking a third party. That’s weird coz I’ve tried both my Lg G5 as well as Samsung s 10+ and they both work audio and video. If it doesn’t work for you then you would have to get a chrome cast to connect to the projector so you can watch Netflix/prime from your phone wirelessly.
