@@harrymain need to order one myself first thing that gets destroyed. the one you pointed out after abit lower down is a metal flexy pipe (52mm i think but ill have to check) not something you can get from vw heritage atm but any metal flexy pipe that size will do the trick, another thing i need to do aswell. just finished this vid, front end is looking savage now!

When wrapping the spoiler lip start from the middle on the top and work out the bibles from the left side then the right side ( either way is fine ) the stretch over the edge and do same on the bottom :) keep up the good work Harry
Get your self some panel trestles for putting your bumpers and parts your working on, saves you sitting on the floor plus you have access to the whole panel/ bumper.

Those spoilers are easy mate , you just drill 2 holes into the top of the door, add glue to your spoiler one hole in the spoiler you screw a clip onto then the other a bolt goes through the doors into the spoiler , there easy to install just make sure both templates which come with them line up perfect 👌👌👌

A tip for when you be getting new wheels for the mini is that make sure that they are big enough to fit big race brake disks

Watched your bike painting vid the other week. Decided to strip the old parts off my old MTB down to the frame, sprayed it with paint stripper, just finished wet sanding and I’m going to go full custom with the Halfords Khaki paint and all new parts. Ta for the inspiration H 👍🏼
I got a new filter on my mini, just a cheap Halfords one, recently changed it back to the original one and you can really feel the difference in the way it drives, drives so much smoother with the cheap Halfords one

The chrome bits in the mini. (The belt line) it all comes off easy so you could paint it or wrap it whatever your choice is 👌🏽

Hey Harry, if you struggle with wrapping the spoiler and don't mind posting it up to me I can wrap it for you. If you're doing it yourself, don't try and wrap it all in one piece as it will be too difficult to get a good finish. Buy some knifeless tape like WrapCut Pro or 3M , and wrap the top and round the edges then use the tape to cut the vinyl along the bottom side of the spoiler, then use a separate piece of vinyl for the bottom of the spoiler and again use the tape to cut it, making sure you have a couple of mm overlap on the edges of the vinyl. Hope that makes sense?
Also if you need MODSQUAD stickers made I'm happy to do them for free for you.

I just wrapped my dashboard in like a matt carbon, you need to gently heat it and stretch it quite a lot and get a really sharp knife to cut it without ripping it

Top tip, dry mount the barn door spoiler before you glue it and open the doors. Needs to sit about 10mm away from the back edge or it will bind.

So the easiest way to actually get the carbon fiber wrapping stuff on is using your credit card like you did for the lights right but at the same time used to heating gun because you're able to stretch the material around the corners instead of trying to fold it over them it just makes the stuff more pliable

You need a soldering iron connected to a dimmer switch to deal with plastic weld points. Test the heated iron on something that won't be seen to set the heat just right. Then you can kind of move the plastic around till it's free and there should still be some left to re-do the weld if necessary.

The pliers used to get the staples out are circlip pliers used to remove and install circlips. Hope that helps. Love the videos.

Just a heads up your mk2 battery may be dead/shot if you mostly just drive it in and out the garage as it only usually uses the battery power as the alternator not kicking in to help put back what you've used to move it out. 🤙🏻
