* Les premiers noms de la programmation de Brive festival 2017 du 20 au 29 juillet prochains viennent d'être annoncés. Une programmation qui comporte les meilleurs artistes du moment, comme M. Pokora, Christophe Maé ou Soprano. *
Brive Festival 2017 a dévoilé ses premières têtes d'affiche et il y a du beau monde : M. Pokora, Christophe Maé, Soprano, MHD, Slimane, Claudio Capéo et Imany. "C'est un cadeau pour les enfants, pour les familles" commente Stéphane Canarias, directeur de Brive festival en rappelant que, fait unique en France, le public de Brive Festival est essentiellement familial. "On voulait être capable de séduire notre cœur de cible " ajoute Stéphane Canarias, en précisant qu'il reste encore à sélectionner une "dizaine d'artistes pour compléter cette programmation". On devrait les connaître dès janvier.
Il y aura cette fois des noms qui pourront sans doute plus plaire à un public plus exigeant. Les organisateurs parlent notamment d'un "très grand nom". Mystère pour le moment. En attendant, autre cadeau, on peut acheter sur le site de Brive Festival un "pass 4 jours" pour le festival au prix de 100 euros, une édition limitée. Le prix augmentera ensuite.
* Vivendi séduit par Brive Festival *
Cette programmation 2017 sera la première d'une nouvelle ère du festival. Créé il y a 12 ans par l'office de tourisme de Brive, Brive Plage à l'époque, sous la férule de Stéphane Canarias, Brive Festival a séduit l'an dernier le groupe Vivendi. A tel point que celui-ci a décidé de s'investir totalement dans l'événement. "C'était une découverte", raconte Christophe Sabot, président d'Olympia Production, filiale de Vivendi, venu pour la première fois à Brive Festival il y a deux ans. "Ça a été une vraie émotion" ajoute-t-il, charmé par l'ambiance unique selon lui de ce festival. Après discussion avec la municipalité, Vivendi, associé avec le groupe Centre-France, a décidé de créer une nouvelle filiale, baptisée "Festival Production" qui sera dédiée à Brive Festival.
* Le catalogue Universal dans l'escarcelle *
Elle sera basée à Brive et c'est Stéphane Canarias qui en prend la direction générale. L'ambition est dans un premier temps de poursuivre le développement du festival. "Marche après marche" précise Christophe Sabot. En clair en 2017 faire aussi bien ou mieux qu'en 2016 qui avait déjà explosé tous les records avec 33 000 entrées. Pour y réussir la présence de Vivendi est un atout considérable. Le groupe est propriétaire d'Universal Music, leader mondial du disque. Et il est propriétaire de plusieurs chaînes de télé, dont CSTAR et C8. "Bientôt vous verrez dans l'émission de Cyril Hanouna, on parlera de Brive Festival", promet Christophe Sabot. Dans un second temps Festival Production pourrait décliner le concept "Brive Festival" dans d'autres villes moyennes.
