It's great to hear others appreciate this variety as much as we do! I'm hoping to successfully breed other varieties from it that give me more flavors to enjoy over the same storage life. I'm also hoping to close the gap between my storage apples and the ones we start harvesting in July. This year that gap will be about 3 months between my 2022 harvest of Goldrush and 2023 harvest of Gravenstein!
@@HonestHomesteading I’m doing some breeding work with Goldrush as a parent as well. I crossed it with cripp’s pink today, also a late hanging apple with very good flavor
