I'm not really sure, but this car was on an aftermarket frame and had a ford Zetech under the hood, so I don't think anything original was held sacred... really fun car!
I had a 1972 Lotus Elan+2. Red with silver top. I don’t know of any all red Elans+2 in 1972. Was yours repainted? Great and fun car, as long as you could keep them running! Thanks for the memories. Also the Lotus world championship badges on the left hand side of the car are missing, indicating the entire care has been repainted.

That dash & stering wheel does look original?

Is that a different gearbox? Also the handbrake is in the wrong place and the dash looks different. Sounds nice though.
