Swans slump. What slump. Losing 4 games by less than a goal? Get real. A slump is when a team loses by over 25 points in several matches. Swans have had at least 6 players missing & one injured playing in the last match . But also, it is hard to win at The Gabba. Dees lost their last three before our game against them in their Premiership year. I don't expect that but it uts us into perspective.

“Rut in the worst time of year”. I don’t think Lloyd really believes that. Swans have time to iron out their kinks with confidence and strength of wins behind them. Not being able to follow through in the four clutch moments they’ve had is a major concern. But the so-called “rut” has come at a time of strength, not weakness, which makes them posed for a GF appearance.

The irony in goodwin saying "we were always losing hitouts even with fullarton" is that Fullarton is better around the ground and at ground level than petty and roo too lmao He gets grundy numbers in the vfl, its actually insane the reasoning to not play him and play petty instead. Petty is not a good footballer, he doesnt have skills around the ground. Yet they play him instead of a good young ground level ruckman....
You haven’t watched the vfl games then. Fullerton is borderline uncompetitive against VFL rucks and much worse around the ground than petty especially in contested marks. There’s a reason a team of coaches that get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars have kept with the choice and it’s because they know more than the gremlins who sit at home on their couch…
