Gemini 200 1:200 American Airlines 777-300(ER), N719AN, Unboxing and Review

- This video is the unboxing of Gemini 200 model 777-300ER with the new American Airlines livery. There are comparison views of the InFlight 200 and the Gemini 200 versions of the same aircraft at the end. The Gemini has a more 'satin' finish while the InFlight is glossy and more true to the real aircraft which has a rich and shiny 'gloss' finish. In comparison pictures of the real aircraft, I think that the Gemini mold is a bit better when looking at the nose versus the InFlight. The InFlight has the 'No Step' markings which the Gemini does not, as far as I can tell the real aircraft does not have that marking.

Awesome plane... I hope Delta gets some 777-300ERs, those would be really cool to fly on..(although they got a350s now)
Yes, they have the 200ER's and LR's, and the new A350 is a more sensible addition because of the all of the Airbus A330's they inherited with the NW takeover. I have got to ride on the LR from AMS to DTW and MSP to ICN, and the A350 from ICN to EWR. The A350 is the future for them as I don't think they will get any of the Dreamliners. Thanks for watching!
the only downside of this model is that GeminiJets did not put a detailed markings on their engines (lines for reverse thrust which they did with the Emirates 777-300 EPP) otherwise it could have been perfect... great video as always Jeff

Such a beautiful model I bought this one it has to be one of the best livery of any carrier. Although I loved the shiny old American style more than anything I wish they had kept that shiny exterior idk why they got rid of it.
I think it was good for them to do the rebranding and modernize it. I loved the polished livery as well, but it started looking a bit dated and tired sitting at the ramp. Glad you got this one, I have this from InFlight as well. Thanks for watching!

Hey jeff. First of all I enjoy the way you review your models keep the good work and because of that you got a new sub. I'm considering getting a aeromexico 777-200er on the aeromexico polish livery made by jc wings in 1:200. Im starting to like the 777 thanks to you. Thanks for sharing. And also I have another question have you ever considered collecting 757 or are you a wide body airplane collector.👍👍
I do collect narrow body models if I have flown on them, I have two 757's in the Delta and Icelandair liveries that I have flown on as well as some 737's from Southwest. I don't do model reviews of them as the reviews take so much work and I just don't have the time to put the effort into that as much as I would like to. Wide body aircraft tend to get more interest as they are that much bigger. You can't go wrong with JC Wings or the other brands that I have reviewed, and the polished liveries are great to own and look nice on the shelf. Enjoy your new 777-200 and thanks for watching!

I wish the landing gear struts were metal.
That would be nice, that is why I like the InFlight version of the AA 77W as the gear is all metal. Their new models also have removable gear which is a nice thing to see. Thanks for watching!

I have a very early BCAL DC 10, with all metal engines, gear struts, engines and fairings, gear doors, etc .
It is numbered, limited to 50 pieces
I am sure it is a very rare piece, I probably need to get one for my collection as I flew on BCAL a few times way back when, even got to sit in the cockpit during cruise and got a complimentary upgrade to business, I was about 19 and couldn't find my row in coach, a lovely Scottish flight attendant told me that I had been upgraded and I couldn't have been happier.

Hey Jeff, which one would you recommend buying, the InFlight or Gemini?
And with regards to the packaging, have you noticed the plastic that is comes with gets moisture onto the model? I have had that to mine and I have had to put silica gel packets in mine. Have you had this before?
Douglas Da Silva I think the InFlight has a better finish but Gemini has a better mold. InFlight has a preorder release coming out today I think but I’m not sure if they redid their mold. I haven’t seen any moisture in the packaging and I display all of my models so the boxes are all in storage.

Most of the models from JC Wings, Gemini Jets, and now InFlight 200 have the removable gear in the 1/200 scale. The older models do not have the removable gear. Thanks for watching!
Will you do unboxing video of Boeing 737-700 Southwest airlines?
I hadn't considered it until now, I typically don't purchase any models that aren't wide bodies unless I have flown on that specific aircraft (I only have two), even though the majority of my flights are on single aisle aircraft. The one for Southwest was too nice to pass up. Maybe I will get to it, it is really nice. Thanks again for your comments and for watching, it's much appreciated.

How do the Gemini 777s compared to inflight 777
They all have their pros and cons, I like the Gemini paint work on this particular model, but the InFlight have better stands and more metal parts in the wheels, then Gemini has the jewel lights. Which one did you like better from this comparison?

I am not sure if I understood your question. The only JC Wings 773's that I have are the ANZ flaps down ZK-OKQ and the roll out livery N5017V. I you have a chance to get the JASDF you totally should do it, the flaps down version is awesome!
