I buy and roast several turkeys around T’giving when the price is right. Then I make stock. I can most of it for my pets as we don’t much care for poultry. The stock tho, mmmmm, it’s all mine! 😊
Turkeys were 99cents a pound at Fred Meyer last week! 😂 do you think they will go lower? Last year I got a free turkey with purchase at Fred’s at Christmas
No, you do not flip it. You keep it press side down the whole time that was the back of the chicken that you were looking at. Sorry you thought you missed something.
Linda, I bet your new husband loves your great cooking!
Great recipe! I love stuffing our birds with the very same herbs, as well as the lemon and onion. The fresh herbs from your garden? BONUS!❤
That’s a wonderful alternative, especially for those without standard ovens. 😊
Making that this weekend for deer opener Sunday dinner! Looks great!
We love whole roasted chicken and veg , it’s much cheaper to buy whole and it’s delicious so I make this often !
Thanks! Looks yummy, can’t wait to try this ❤️
That looks yummy I'll have to try this

Walmart has them on sale right now for $.88 a pound so it’s gonna be a year to stock up
So did you flip it over halfway through or anything? It seems like you skipped a few steps.
