Please correct me if I am wrong, but in the DBHelper class consider to close the database cursor with cursor.close(); after use to release the memory map allocated in the methods where a cursor is being used. Otherwise you're at risk to trigger an allocation exception in a large database with repeated multiple calculations.

I'm having the same issue. The "Insert new data" button return the toast message successfully but not the other buttons. Have you figure it out?
Also, isnt it better to do an onClick event through the attributes then define it instead of doing all of that in the main activity method
