Hi Natalie, I inherited a heap of circular needles from a couple of different people, I mean, lots! I would get frustrated for 2 reasons, there were so many it would take ages to find the size I need AND I hate how the cords curl from being kept wound up. So I made a hanging storage for them. It’s a strip of fabric with sleeves sewn on the top, each sleeve is mark with the size. You feed the needle into one end of the sleeve and pull out the other end so they are dangling on either side with the cord still in the sleeve. (Probably making no sense). And then I heated a pot of water to boiling, and dipped the cords of each one in for 1 or 2 seconds, which relaxed the cord so they are straight rather than twisted and curling.
I love this idea! Practical, and could be jazzed up with decoration on the cover. I have all fixed circulars that I keep in their original packaging in order to know the sizes. But I need something to collect them.
Thanks for sharing your idea. Great solution. I like that the sleeves have zippers. I currently am storing my needle collection in a photo box-4x6 photo size and it's working perfectly.
For German/European customers: The idea of using a A5 binder is a cheap one. Herlitz or Falken binders for office purposes are less than 10€ (at the big A...n, price of 2025) and they have a very sturdy mechanism and are available with an 8cm back, therefore a viable storage of circular needles in re-sealable sleeves.😄

Nice! Love it 😃
I have a binder set up similar that I store all my chiaogoo cables in labeled with size and quantity. I love it.
I should do that! I hate digging through cables.
I was thinking of this solution, and adding in each pouch the corresponding size crochet hook, cable needle, and DPNs
Thats a great idea! I was thinking of making one for my dpns too. But I need to get more dpns first.
@KnitCheek I don't have many myself. My nearest yarn shop is a mile away and have very few choices
Calicos are really chatty cathys sometimes! 😊
Especially Peaches lol :P
Thanks for the great storage idea. ❤
Glad you like it! 🤗
Very timely video! I've been so frustrated with my circular knitting needle storage that I've been obsessing over the perfect storage!
Hope this video helped 😃

The photo box is great for storing needles in original packaging! 😀
I took your suggestion and love the result. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Yay! I’m so glad you tried and liked it!
Great storage idea! I love that you can easily add more sleeves as needed.
Yes! It’s very flexible. ❤️
I love this binder idea! Thanks for sharing! I may even have a spare binder laying around here somewhere. I’m going to give this a go!
Perfect!

Nice. I love that idea for bigger collections.
I did the same thing with my cables for my interchangeable needles. I used a cash binder so it’s smaller and can travel with my needle set
nice!
Interesting solution. I keep mine in a couple pull out drawers (plastic storage solution) in their original packaging.
Very Practical! 😄
very good idea, thank you, my needle-mess will end
You’re welcome 😊
Nice job
Thanks! 😊
Is there still a needle with a black cable in your old accordion case? Great idea for storing fixed circs?
Yeah there was! 😅
