@Eggman's Wrath You aren't alone. A lot of people agree with that theory. Even some of the wrestling media outlets. This heel turn really puts Impact in the darker light here since this goes beyond just a promo or kayfabe storyline. There's legit criticism towards Impact around this.

Eddie Edwards represents many of us who saw the need to change going back 2 years ago. Some people, you just have to recognize as hindrances in your life, and then kick them out.

This is exactly why I don't consider Honor No More as heels because they actually have a point. It's a matter of perception. I personally believe Eddie had a point and this is speaking as a Josh Alexander fan. Eddie should have gotten a shot before him.

I could see a turn before a Lethal Lockdown match. Matter of fact, there hasn’t been a cage match in Impact since 2019 when Sami Callihan beat Brian Cage. And there hasn’t been a Lethal Lockdown match since D’Amore took over.
Scott definitely called him out and questioned his integrity. This is what I love about Moose vs Heath as it is much more about how it fits into the HNM storyline. I'm kind of expecting them to attack Heath, Eddie is no doubt going to be inserted quickly into the world title picture. Rebellion Moose vs Eddie vs Josh for the world title would be unreal. Then how does Jay White/NJPW fit into all this? Joe vs Jay? My mind is spinning.
I feel where Eddie is coming from but still don't respect he turned on Impact. If he wanted so bad to dethrone Kenny he should've pressured Scott demoore into the match, anybody can be the heart and soul of something doesn't mean a boss will pick you for a promotion
Okay, it was a pretty nice segment, and Eddie's explanation actually made a lot of sense. You can try your best, but, it doesn't mean you won't get overlooked.
Just to make something clear, if i am not mistaken, didn't Christian bring the title back to Impact. Because if i remember correctly he beat Kenny Omega for the Impact World Title. Not Josh.
I think they mean Josh took the belt exclusively to Impact while Christian was still an AEW guy

Probably because I thought this up during his feud with Sami but I was really expecting Eddie to make a point of mentioning how he nearly went part blind and the company and fans cared more about a heated rivalry than his well-being. But this was a great way to explain it. I wanted Eddie to turn Heel this year. Moose turned heel when he Speared Eddie I now hope to see Moose Gradually turn Babyface. He's already a tweener in my book. None of us want to truly boo Moose

Eddie Edwards was telling the truth about what's going on with Impact Wrestling. Impact Wrestling wasn't the same anymore because of the corruption and Eddie knew that.

Great group, expecting big things from them especially if and when they all return to ROH later this year. When you open the forbidden door, everybody in wrestling wins. Everybody.
They are not going back to ring of honor. They are done with ring of honor. A group doesn’t call themselves honor no more and than just go back to ring of honor.

Eddie Edwards is the most underrated wrestler in Impact!!! He is the heart of Impact for a reason, he fights and fights, and gives everything he has in every match. He keeps getting passed over. I agree with what he is saying!!!

When he was feuding with his partner Davey Richard’s he was fit, looked like a threat, and moved faster.
Once he gained weight it was like watching Tommy dreamer wrestle and he became boring. He had to switch his wrestling style and the high flying and it was night and day.
In closing this was the best move for him. Now he is go in going to grow into his own with this change, this character, and finally be taken serious again. Like the wolf eddy Edwards once was

I thought it was going to be about how Eddie’s been with IMPACT for eight years and year after year he’s had to watch his friends leave. At No Surrender he had the opportunity to help his friends from the industry get a new job.
Brilliant segment. Eddie deserves a top spot in wrestling not just IMPACT.

Eddie Edwards turning on IMPACT was still a surprise for me. Then again, he tried so hard to become World champion and every opportunity was avoided while giving it to others. He speaks the truth about corruption and I respect him. Heel or not, Eddie Edwards has made his choice.
What makes it resonate is how the corruption in Impact has been a topic of discussion even before this heel turn. A lot of people agree there's corruption in Impact.
Okay I like the idea of Eddie turning heel but I can’t help but find his reasoning for thinking Impact lost “honor” is because he wasn’t the one to defeat Omega or Christian to bring the title home a bit strange.
Because he was one of the only ones to get a victory over Omega and his crew when none of the others who fought him for the title had beaten him previously and he just felt betrayed that they never even at least considered him for a shot.
@@Colt2OO2 Bingo. Eddie struck a harder blow against Omega and did more damage than anyone. The only thing Josh and Moose did was take advantage of a given opportunity.

IF Eddie Edwards didn't betrayed team impact in No Surrender then he can go for championship title straight away since Moose is done feuding with Morissey which leads to Eddie Edwards vs Moose in Sacrifice PPV for MAIN EVENT (supposedly) and he made wrong choice to betrayed them at least we got Heath which he is long overdue what a waste and bad timing of him
Watched a more lively crowd in Vancouver. Technically, it would make sense to host shows in Toronto

@@primetimemiles15 Yes 👏 Anthem have the the money. More than enough money being the biggest subsidiary of Fight Holdings. They spent a fortune cleaning up the old regime's mess and Rebranding. They'll make big offers if they deem the talent worth it like with Wyndam. But right now because they had to hit the reset button IMPACT is where it was in early 06 I'd say. Such a talented roster but with a lot more history now, plenty of great partnerships and a well worth it streaming service. I do want some more star power brought in and I'm confident that will happen in time but this company was nearly destroyed because the financer who knew nothing about wrestling decided to go out and get Hulk Hogan so his ego could run wild again, even though the company was growing every year. Baby steps is the way to getting IMPACT ro the level it once was again

Man this is the perfect opportunity for Alisha to have a major heel turn and challenge Mickie for the title, because at the end eveything that Eddie said also applies to her and her run so far with Impact.
This will be on every video until it is done. The company can thank me later with a contract. Always wanted to work for them. Now, the IMPACT Wrestling branding has to go, and iMPACT! has to return. Brandishing that iconic classic iMPACT! logo that they had in their glory years, with the entire set and ring looking the exact same. Bring back all the classic belts, their exact designs. The World Title that came straight after the NWA Title. That World Championship that was created that Kurt Angle was the first to win in the company. The EXACT same design brandishing the iMPACT! logo. Do that for all the classic championships. Revert to the classic intro to the show. With the Cross The Line theme. Go back to 2002. Go back 20 years. Six sided ring. Everything. Identical. Brandishing the iMPACT! logo. Watch how quickly your wrestling company iMPACT! goes back up to a million viewers. Do people agree?
