As someone currently getting a degree in theatre in the states, I object to the idea that we aren’t taught accents. I’ve been very specifically taught multiple British (and other) accents and that it isn’t uncommon for theatre depts

Daniel Kaluuya plays the main character in Get Out and Nope; he's British and you literally couldn't tell at all. I know you couldn't tell because me and my friends literally didn't know until it was pointed out to us and we watched both movies multiple times.
I would open my presents before the main meal and cake then play with them after food so I would open them in the afternoon
