Recently got a grandmother and have been having endless fun just with the internal patching. Can't wait to bring it to a whole new level with the Mavis!
I'm less than a minute in and this shits all over Andertons and their insufferable synth videos. I'm sure you'll be very pleased to hear this. Big love for Mylar Melodies.
I actually play my Moog Matriarch like a keyboard. Arpeggios are fine but shows the operator doesn't play a keyboard. Just play it, not just turning nobs.
Moog stuff is hideously overpriced, especially when you consider how much Moog are stuck in the past. Had a Matriarch and sold it. My Arturia MiniFreak is way more capable and practical than the Matriarch. Each to their own.
Glad to hear you've found the right synth for you - it's a golden age for synths, out there is a great synth at the right price point for pretty much anybody!
Moog does have the Moog subtle sound, which carries a premium. Also the interface you interact with inspires in different ways. Why buy a Minifreak when you can get a Hydrasynth, but I would argue they each have their own character or interface that inspire differently

I am so patching this after work today with my Mavis and Matriarch.
That's exactly why the Grandmother and the Matriarch are such great synthesisers. Thumbs up 👍
@3:05 Fuck yeah! 🤘🏾⚡
Fun stuff guys. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you for the awesome demo. Super well presented. I hope all is well in Your world 🌎. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
I'm debating getting a mavis or taiga to pair with matriarch. I know they are not in the same class but I want a wavefolder but I like money too 😫
Wow you're gonna make me get a Mavis I guess...
Want that rainbow Moog t-shirt!
I put the SubH into granny. I have no regrets with this.

sometimes the journey itself is the goal. I can spend hours getting lost in my GM
