Great material, thanks a lot! Why not to restrict the same instructor on the same day already on the instructor drop-down list, instead of making the warning?
Thanks for this very helpful video. Is there anyway I can make the list of available instructors be displayed in a table form rather than a list? Ie. Instead of names being listed in 1 column, to be listed out over 3 columns and 3 rows instead?
if you mean a drop list having 3 pieces of information on each line, then it's possible. But if you mean a drop list of 3 columns and when you make a selection each piece of information lands in a different column (although you are making a single selection) then this is much more complicated.
@@Officeinstructor thanks for your reply! Alternatively, would it be possible to have the list displayed as a horizontal row rather than a vertical column?
@@Officeinstructor having a single selection result in populating 3 columns sounds interesting too but my initial query was whether the results of the answer to a filter entered can be displayed in an array rather than a column eg, instead of generated list from G4 going down, results are displayed across an array, eg going from G4 to K6.
Beautiful and impressive video with every possible detail is your speciality. Can you create this project without new dynamic functions for the sake of people having old versions?
Filter function is a Dynamic Array Function available only in Office 365. I will be creating another video for the same project using classic Functions.
Hi Nabil, I want to know how we can create the condition for time of the classes. Imagine in your example, the instructor can get two classes on Monday, but not if the time of the classes overlap. For example, one instructor can not have two classes on the same day at 1pm to 3 pm and the other one 2pm to 4 pm. Could you please explain how can I modify this practice to get the warning for the time of the classes? or at least give me a hint to figure it out myself ;)
Amazing, very good Nabil. Thanks.👍👏

Show me sample data and I might create a tutorial on that
maybe it would have been better to warn for double assignment on both rows, instead of the second one.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
