And "yes" is also " how" example:
You want more food?

Trinidad and Tobago has their own dictionary called Cote Ci Cote La for persons who want to understand the dialect.
The Vincy way for, I don't want to be bothered is, "Na-bada-me."
Jamaican also say nuh bada mi
The lady in yellow spoke like ah real vincy twang
I'm from Town and I totally agree!
What I also found is that Jamaicans dialect is so similar to others😅😂

Vincy all the way 🇻🇨🇻🇨
I am a born vincy, but the broken English that is spoken by the younger generation has been made up by them .I wasn't aware that Vincy is speaking Patio
It was known to us in that region only by St Lucia and Dominica Patios is broken French.Should you visit St lucia you can listen to the language yourself At age 15yrs i had that privileged experience due to the exchanged Baptist Church
You younger generation is just a sad story teller because many cannot speak good or knowing the English Grammar
@beaulahbrown7818 why u being so ignorant, we are not ashamed of our tradition. We are proud of our way of life, Not because u think u might have a good education u smarter than us.

St Vincent accent has some similarity in the sounds with Jamaican accent, not the same but there is things in common
you are very correct in that, very good observation.

Thank you
@@LifeWithTheSistahs I don't know where that site got their info from but we don't speak French patios. We speak Vincy Creole. The site even says some islanders speak French as their first language and that our Creole's vocab consists mainly of French words. I don't know a single soul in Vincy, born and raised Vincy, that speaks French as their native tongue. It's not the first site on the web where I've seen that piece of misinformation before either. I'm genuinely curious where it came from.
And @ike nothing about our Creole is broken.
The Vincy girl had me rolling 🤣 😂...Lovely video Island girls
Okkkk adds......I see you sistahs, keep up the good work. 🤜🏾🤛🏾
I enjoy this, blessings you sister. Am 100%..
Love this awesome
Vinci Creole is predominantly English based. With little french creole influence. Nice show. love it. .....".come Leh arwe go ah shap nuh !!!"
Thank you. Never knew we speak French creole. Hate when these folks put false information.
The island does have French influences names like: Barrouallie , Calliaqua, DuBois, Sans Souci and others.
Nah tell no lie still but st Vincent ppl language different baddddd!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Every time she talk me laugh

Very good video.
This is actually a great video , I used to enjoy sitting on the bus in toronto listening to the different dialects
Glad you enjoyed it!
😀😀😀..I like this 👌 😍
I like it.Jokes for days😂😂😂
Had to edit: as a Trini, ( forgot to mention dat🤦🏿♂️) For de gossip, we also say "bad talk" "she/he like to "bad talk" people"!
And vincy say you talk me behind me back or bad mouth me
Yes in Vincy is ya (formal), sometime man in added at the end to read, ya-man (Casual), therefore man at the end had nothing to do with gender.
Your video is great. Please take your time when speaking your different creole language because we in Ghana and other countries in Africa are learning we want to hear you very clearly. Thanks
Thank you for your support.....
Me understand you L-O. Reply with some of your Creole Language buddy.
yeah. ee ee
Tobago ,St vincent and Jamaica have a lot in common also the people from Paramin in Trinidad
we Vincy also say, "where are you going," the same as the Jamaican do it in broken english. way-yo-grine! is mostly in the city and ah-way yo-a-go your heard mostly in the country.
ah-way yo-a-go is how know I hear it and how I use to say it too as a child growing up home. we also had a saying that Vincentian and Jamaican sound alike.
In the country we say par yo gwine
@@auzziedabrell6905 ah truth that
