Gotta love the industrial vibes, with those samples that sound like robot pneumatic painters 1:16 and the background low drone that seems machine-derived.
Finally decide to play through this after years of being kinda on and off with it (mostly due to my computer not liking playing it for some reason). This game is awesome and I should have played it years ago, like it’s so damn good. The soundtrack here especially raises this level, already a really good one, to even greater heights. It’s been a long time since I played an FPS this good.
I hear a voice in a few sections of this song. It seems to come from behind me with no loudspeakers there. I'm worried that someone is telling me to turn it down. This track is kinda similar to "Nightvision" and unlike other music - I sometimes got them confused.
This is an edited version of the song that was first used in the video game, In Pursuit of Greed, from 1996 on DOS.
The "FM" in the module title listing stands for "Five Musicians", a Screamtracker 3 demoscene crew, of which Andrew was a part of.
actually it was four musicians then later five

every time I listen to this song, I think of the Matrix!
I think of The Prodigy or of 16-bit Sonic The Hedgehog games on the Sega Genesis.

Which sections? I would want to know :o
This is impossible to confuse with "Nightvision" because the rhythm is completely different.
Though it lacks much of what makes most of Unreal’s music amazing, there’s still something undeniably cool about this track. Outpost 3J IIRC :)
