As i am an American, we use both Fahrenheit and Celsius but we use Celsius in science. We mainly use Fahrenheit for temperature and that’s mainly because in America it’s going to be different in Europe and the United Kingdom. In America we use Fahrenheit, in Europe and the United Kingdom and other foreign countries people use Celsius. In America, we use cups when baking and cooking because it’s a traditional method of measuring ingredients in volume. For example , say want to bake a cake and it calls for 1 to 2 cups of flour and you have to get a 1 cup measuring cup to measure out the flour in, that 1 cup measuring cup that u use to measure out your flour for your cake is how you get the 1 to 2 cups of flour and it is because it dates back to at least the Roman time period and its a traditional method of measuring out your ingredients in volume. Volume is another key part in how you get the 1 to 2 cups of whatever ingredient you are measuring out. I hope this comment helps those who didn’t take a culinary class in school and didn’t know about why we Americans use cups when baking and cooking and why we use Fahrenheit more than Celsius 😇😇😇
