I received the Lord at 9 years old. I was taken to church by my cousins. I took the scriptures literally. I cleaned out my closet it had a little shelf on the bottom of it. I had my Bible there praying believing the word taught me to pray in my closet. I love Sid Roth His program. Listened to him a long time too.
I, too, remember starting out -5-15 mins - spending time with the Lord and it has now turned into hours - the key was I committed to it every single day! SEEK HIM TO KNOW HIM! He will teach you!! I had been focusing on God 24 hours a day (reading scripture outloud, praying, praising) because of some spiritual battle 3 years ago & was needing constant prayer and someone asked me how much time I spent in the presence of God. At first, I thought how could I possibly spend anymore time in the presence of God? They gave me the name of Chris' channel, Fresh Oil, and suggested I watch it every morning. At first I thought, how could I get anything out of Chris' youtube show because I was already spending ever moment thinking on God, but as soon as I watched it the first time, I felt so refreshed, and felt the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit. I really feel like the body of Christ needs this. Now, when I even do it for a second, I can feel God's presence. Chris has such a beautiful anointing, I really think it's because he has spent so much time in Jesus' presence, and he has such a heart for God. I also watched a baptism with Chris & another pastor. It was soooo powerful, the people were getting delivered, you could literally feel heaven through the recorded video, and Chris was gently loving the person through the deliverance. You could feel him guiding the person through deliverance through the Father's love. And I only saw a few seconds of it, but could see how powerfully he ministered to the person who was going through it, and I think it's because he never loses sight of the Father's heart. So grateful that Chris' program made it's way to the Sid Roth show. I personally believe that this daily 'waiting on the Lord' is what Christians are lacking. He read the scripture, 'But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.' ISAIAH 40:31 -- it's so true. It's amazing, the more you live the bible, the more you realize that it is True, it is Truth, it is the Living word...
Please Pastor Chris pray for me I’m physically not feeling well my vitamin D was severely deficient. My immune system has been oppressed so I have gotten a rash on my hands and on neck and ear’s please pray for me. Thank you.🙏🙏

Exactly. This is what I was searching and wanted to learn how to do. I just hear preaching that says develop a relationship with God read the word but nobody really teaches how to specially when you're new in the faith. And I'm very grateful for this ministry for doing this it's very interesting I prayed to God that I wanted to find someone to teach me how to spend time with him somebody who was spirit-filled and can teach that and I came across his ministry! ♥️
