In an early game where fowl and garlic dominate, you can't disrespect the flea
This. I had some modicum of success with leveled Flea, and a Tahr or Snapping Turtle goes crazy, especially if you manage to put their effects onto a Panther.
He sleeps on the silver fox so much. Its a great pet especially this weekly when every pet attacks at least 3 times
Maybe this week, but normally it's free losses
What's kind of crazy about this weekly is that technically Cockroach is the only unit with attack scaling.

Snake, porcupine, skunk, tiger, Guinea fowl. Used the snake in the very back so when the porcupine died the dog would spawn for more snake shots
Begging Team Wood to create a weekly without Lemur. It's too damn strong and swings lobbies instantly
Hyena + lion fish + moose to buff the lionfish’s health (attack) works phenomenally
That's a nice idea. I was trying to figure out how to use lionfish this weekly
That still loses almost automatically to any team that has spawners, an orca and/or guineafowl seem extremely necessary from all that I’ve played

@@Flamerunner451it doesnt, lionfish instantly kills everything on the enemy team and you still have 4 pets with massive attack, there is no way that relatively weak spawn pets beat them and if they do, just get a parrot to mimic lionfish in order to kill the spawns
The 2 miniature pumpkins really give it the autumnal feel

(Granted, he would STILL lose that match-up, but he'd have killed the dog, and the mosquito would only be on 2 HP.
Any efforts to bully or shame is just going to lead to 10 times the trolls holding the queue for attention
My take on this weekly is: get moose and win. I've played only 3 lobbies of this weekly and come in 2nd once and 1st twice. I don't think that it's due to any kind of genius on my part - I just grabbed moose and rode them to victory. I may be winning but it feels too simple : |
Even moose can be too late. I won several times with just buying Guinefowl+ Sabretooth and levelling them up. Didn't even need more than 30 health on each,, pita bread also is great. Tiger+Crocodile can help get an early win too, and skunk nullified any enemy guine or saber.
@@dman8988 Makes sense, I think I managed to level up into an early moose in two of my three games
I’ve ran moose in almost all of my runs, some of them getting one early and I still got blown out by teams with similar or even worse scaling that had a leveled up guineafowl and an orca
Kind of a shame we didn't get much content of the previous weekly but that's just how it is sometimes.
Last week was arguably one of the worse weeklies in a long time.

@@noahs4760 I 100% agree. It felt extremely out of the players control. Just a crap shoot if you got the right pets. And no cool combos. Worst weekly since Ranked's launch

Remember when Egg said he doesn't like ARPG's because he doesn't want to have to memorize every character, skill and the nuances between them?
Now you can stop him in the street and he can recite every damn animal on the Ark, their diet and the order in which they boarded.
The only issue is that if you get snipers and a hyena you can nuke the enemy. Issue is that guinea fowl also summons so they still have a 6/6 dog.
I was browsing reddit on my phone until I randomly look up to the screen at 19:43 and see NL runnung the good old 2-squad at round 7. xD Love u, NL

I've been doing good with sniper teams, but you have to get shop luck to get it going.

Oh man, that early moose does feel really good, but games don't go long this week. It ends up being a trap. Skunk hard counters porcupine and guinea fowl, but you also need your own porcupine or guinea fowl.
Blowfish can go pretty hard too, tho

It's a cool weekly, a little slower but it sure shakes things up. I do hope he plays some arena too though, I like all sap but it's nice to see him ready up and get right into the action.

I'm confused as to why Guineafowl, Porcupine, Blowfish and Sabertooth are in this weekly. Seems fairly obvious they'd be overpowered
If they removed the guinea fowl, this weekly would be infinitely better.

Could also try for spider early on and pill it for guinea fowl
Players need to get ~30 seconds per turn with a time bank of maybe 90 seconds or so. Every turn you get 30s no matter what. Over the course of the run you can use extra time out of your 90s. If you use up your 90s, you only get the 30s per turn and auto-ready on end of 30s. This is WAY too slow for the amount of thinking needed for this game. Maybe more like 45s turns and 120s bank, could try some different numbers, but the current system is obviously bad. So often you have the 6/8 or 7/8 waiting for 45+ seconds.
I swear on my mama these teams that im going up against, level 3s, counters everywhere and when I try the things that worked agianst me it just fails

I tend to agree on NL with the undercooked weekly. There is a very clear dominant strategy here and literally nothing else seems viable.

this weekly is horrible IMO its just fowl or porcupine with pretty much zero flexibility, i almost wish that they would give us two different weekly's at once, might not be enough players for that but it's really annoying when the weekly sucks
