Thank you so much for this!! David Janssen was truly great, and I just became a fan, but his amiable personality and sweet shyness is irresistible, and he has the most adorable eyes ever. lol.

David Janssen was not only a great, impeccable actor but he was also funny, sweet, shy, and personable. This is my first time seeing him "letting his guard down" so to speak. He was hilarious with Tim Conway. I just kept laughing. I wish he could have stayed with us a little more longer. Gone way to soon and he had aged so much and very quickly in the 70's. I think since he was incredibly shy, he overcompensated with drugs and alcohol. His rigorous working schedule and excessive smoking didn't help things either. It was so great to see him laugh and smile though, it just made him that more sexy and endearing to me. RIP, Mr. Janssen....

At his funeral he was eulogized as "a good man and a bad boy"

David Janssen played basketball really well. He set a school scoring record that lasted 20 years.

What strange parallel universe is this?? David Janssen playing basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters alongside the likes of Tim Conway, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks? My God, television was interesting back then!!!

@tonyny77 Actually, I'm surprised Lt. Girard wasn't able to get him then, as he knew exactly where he'd be for an hour.

I can’t believe what I saw: David, Mel and the rest of the gang. If Lieutenant Gerard had shown up, he’d-be chasing David all over the place!

I agree that David Janssen was great and he clearly enjoyed his success on the Fugitive, although the schedule of the show took a toll on his health; he never quite achieved the success in films that he would have ideally wanted. Vic Damone, who sang this medley, sounds just as good in 2011, when we saw him perform at Kravis Center in Florida, as he does here in the mid 60's.

Such decency, morality and ethics back then, what happened to our society? Too many choices, too many options I guess.
