Hi Trevor. I have had a bottle of wine f the essence for a long time, but haven’t used it. I’ve been using toner. I bought a bottle of ANR yesterday, and will start using the essence, too. I am a 65 year old woman with good skin. I’ve been taking care of my skin since I was a teenager. I’m glad that I invested the time and money. By the way, I love your kitty! So sweet.

Great review and your skin is absolutely flawless and you are adorable!!😍 I already use the advanced night repair and people are always commenting on how flawless my skin is despite being nearly 54😊 I’ve just ordered the micro essence for my birthday but I’m a little concerned now that you said it has an exfoliating effect as I often wear fake tan. Do you know if it will remove it or is it really gentle?

@@TrevorRitchie Yes I do and don’t expect to stop that either 🤩 it is indeed expensive but I truly care for my skin and only the best is good enough. I haven’t been always as caring as I am now but that comes with aging I guess ☺️ I love your enthusiasm when you talk about EL products, I haven’t used the Sakura one yet but it definitely is on my radar 😁

Enjoyed your video on ester lauded micro essence. I’m a big EL fan of the serum. I had bought a kit of some items I had never used and micro essence was in it but the bottle didn’t help with what it really was used for. So I googled and your video came up. Anyway, thanks it helped a lot.

Yeah be great if you could do a comparison video, I do love Estee lauder I do have the Advanted night repair but now will definitely try the mirco essence now. I also love Murad replenishing multi acid peel so beautifully soft on skin and I do see immediate results on breakout areas on my skin, but can't wait to try Estee lauder now. How long would you say this 6.7 oz bottle would last?
I’ve been using SK-II Essence for a long time (21 years old), now I just order Estée Lauder treatment lotion to try it out but the problem is I don’t want to stop using SK-II, and I don’t know how to add them into the same routine 😅😅😅
After 2 years of daily SK-II Essence usage, I decided to mix it up and bought 4 bottles of the EL Micro Essence with Sakura. Thanks for the application instructions, very helpful as I kind of slap it on like Home Alone. Interested to see if there are equally effective options for less, although perhaps not willing to take the risk.

Yes, I use Estee Lauder Micro Essence as a part of my day and night skin care routine.
I'm an EL fan girl and I've been using for about 15 years. ANR is the truth. I received the sample bottle of microessence a few years ago but then near cited choked when I saw the price. Caudalie has an essence at a fraction of the price that I've been using since before my ANR serum and eye repair.
WOW! Another success story for Advanced Night Repair serum! I agree that the sticker shock on the Micro Essence is real... but so are the benefits :)! Thank you for pointing out Caudalie, I will take a look.
@@TrevorRitchie Would love your critique of Caudalie! As for ANR, hands down THE BEST!!! I've had four babies (a set of twins) and lived on about 2 hours of sleep a night and people always said, "Wow, you don't look tired!" Even the EL counter rep was shocked that I got no sleep and was like "you must use ANR!"

You may have the most perfect skin I've ever seen. Babies aren't that fortunate. Do you use EL products every day or hit and miss? Never tried the Micro toner, your skin talked me into it, thank you.

I use Estee Lauder scents. I enjoy receiving the free gifts with purchase where I can try the luxurious skincare products....I treat myself to the night repair serum...and the eye cream.

girl your face looks irritated compared to your neck - are we overdoing it??? i like this product. let me just say that the lactobacillus is an anti-acne ingredient 10 times more effective than salycilic acid. i can't make up my mind whether this product is just to replace the anr for the asian market or whether it's really necessary with the anr. this product is all about fast penetration through its ferments. fermenting breaks down the ingredients to the size they can penetrate. it's also about wrinkle reduction (there's argirilene in here), sebum regulation, anti-acne, anti-irritation, and strenf. i have noticed using this that i don't wake up with face lines from my cpap anymore. strenf girl!
Skincare is most advanced in Asia especially Japan and Korea but China is emerging with a brand called fo. Estée Lauder simply tapped into the large industry and production available to create all this ferment in Japan and or Korea. America by itself is unable to create that by product. No it’s not a replacement for Asian market. We Asians only use efficient products. The Korean 10 steps is over the top but we do practise 5-6steps minimally daily. Even without doing so most fair Asians like myself we naturally have better skin genes which are pore less and softer and that in a way spurred skincare Brand to create more penetrative products meaning to say molecularly smaller products which is what you get currently. Skincare earns more in Asia than Europe and NA combined. So skincare trends are always at the forefront in Asia for this very simple reason and due to our food choices all these funny funny things are created like ferment.

@@TrevorRitchie Sorry, what I mean to say was, citric acid when used at the (relatively low) concentration here is unlikely to have much of an exfoliating effect. It likely functions here as a pH adjuster.
