Paraphernalia: Equipment for the Revolution is a 1999 Drum and Bass album by The Cu6an, featuring thirteen original tracks composed between 1997 and 1999. This album blends hard-hitting breakbeats, deep basslines, and politically charged underground energy, capturing the raw essence of late-90s Jungle and Techstep.
Debuting at the 1999 Winter Music Conference, Paraphernalia was uniquely packaged in Ziploc baggies, each featuring one of four different covers of The Cu6an making a fist reminiscent of anti-Castro regime Cuban political leaflets. The liner notes were stamped in red with "Evidencia" (Evidence), reinforcing the album’s message of resistance and sonic revolution.
Presented by legendary West Coast rave promoter and founder of The We Are One Family Church, Marcus Lara, this album was a defining underground moment.
