I am experiencing freezing during the unfold process with part of example model at 6:00 timecode. The freeze stopped at 33% and did not move for more than 10 minutes, the program did not respond. I am using mac os m1 max ventura 13.0.1 and RizomUV version 2022.1.57. The problem was solved with the installation of a newer RizomUV version - 2022.2.39, the unfold took some time (about a minute), but at least it reached the end and did everything correctly. In case anyone else runs into the same problem. 🤞
No, you cannot use edge selection tags in RizomUV (Or most other 3d applications for that matter) because this is data that is created and meant for C4D.
@@RizomUV hi. Can I somehow use info about my hard edges from Blender to select those specific edges in RizomUV, or to directly mark seams there? Or, maybe there are some button, like "Select sharp edges" in Blender with angle slider to specify what angle to consider as hard edges. P. S. Maybe you've already showed it in previous videos, and I just missed it. Totally possible. Magic Wand works similar, but not fully automatic) It's not the end of the world, though, and still is extremely useful.
@@RizomUV A part cannot be isolated until you hover over it and press I, right? Now after cutting when I do that, I get a single piece isolated which I don't want.. How to get the whole part isolated like it did before applying seams?
I’m getting RizomUV soon. Here’s what I’m doing… I’m make a game ready asset with 3 different texture sets. Some things ideally that I need are being able to stack similar UV’s, see if UV is flipped or not, be able to easily offset UV’s, and obviously work with multiple objects split into multiple texture sets. Can this do this and if so does anyone have any resources for these certain things they can link? Thanks😊

Yes! In our Topocopy panel, you can "select similar", "update similar" among other options 😉
Whenever i select a edge and press C to Cut seam on it but i can't uncut it without undo. Is there any way to uncut or un seam a edge?
Yes, it called "weld" shortcut "W", it's covered in the next video in this series🙂

after middle button click, I press i to isolate which I selected, but it only isolate one piece. how to isolate all of I select
Don't hover over a specific island, put the cursor in an empty space.

@@AnanyaAninditaSSU - In island mode, double click middle mouse button over the island (all connected islands will be selected), then isolate.
