I think white forest centurion is really solid but requires you to really know both archetypes really really well. There’s still cards missing in MD that’s out in the tcg and ocg so hopefully it’ll improve because the biggest weakness I’m feeling with the deck is it’s clunkiness if you open two normal summons from either archetype
Everyone should play Gimmick Puppets for a bit, and see how fragile the standard FTK combo is. Bystials, Droll, DD Crow and Grave Yard hate stops it. You do however get lots of unearned wins. People quit all the time right before you run out of extension
Lots of things stop them, the problem is that not always you have the necessary cards on your hand or they can negate it with a Called By or Crossout. In a BO1 or a BO3 w/o a side deck they can win a lot because of that.
That's why they have so many ways to still burn you or win with attacks. Don't let a few wins on people learning the deck that you would get the same play on those who know the deck.
Branded definitely takes a good pilot. Mirrorjade pass isn't something I've done unless it's my only option. Depending on the branded deck i play (yes I've built like a couple on MD), and those options are Branded Chimera (current), Branded Shaddoll (current), Branded True Draco (current), Branded Darklords (when Fusion was at 3) So yeah, branded definitely takes a good pilot if you're going to use branded with another archetype which is probably the preferred way to play and it's why you see it in Master Rank because pure branded isn't as good as having branded with another archerype.
