Once you start watching Hwasa’s MV you can’t stop watching her MV. Hwasa has magical soul she’s very unique person. Also you should check Hwasa’s all the “Mama” performances she’s so powerful.
LMM Always makes me cry especially when the arrow she shoots hits her. Such a beautiful piece, so poetic orz Hwasa is a Queen. In relation to the guides. The Purple Hawk guide is the best one to show the girl’s personality and is the most entertaining. The one you watch is the most informative about their story and impact on the industry. Both I believe are a complete package to getting to know Mamamoo. I know there is another guide people recommend cause it’s more current than the Purple Hawk one but it’s like an in between of the other two. It doesn’t showcase their personalities fully (like the Purple Hawk one) and doesn’t have that much information. I will say though the editing on the Purple Hawk one is *chefs kiss* which really adds to the experience (I’m a very passionate Moomoo and want everyone to love them hence this small essay on guide videos) Can’t wait for more of my girls though! Love your reactions 🩵
lmm really is such a delicate and very emotional song. it adds more impact when you know her struggles. lot of symbolism in the mv. i always get chills whenever i watch or listen to this song.
Hwasa loves her puns. She sings "I'm a bich" (Korean for "Light"), so she's enjoying the double entendre. About her song "Maria", when you get to that, it's her name given to her at her communion, so she's singing to herself. She even has the name tattooed just below the nape of her neck.
I love hwasa’s work so much, is so meaningful and beautiful, each of the girls have their special flavor and personality on their work. Especially bc they participate in every step. I’m a B is like a continuation of “Maria”, so I think u should check out later too, Maria was composed by hwasa early on in her career, but the urge to put it out to the world was when the attack she received was too strong and she needed to comforting herself, so she made as a letter to her inner self, along side with the first mini album, titled Maria, who’s contained “LMM” (lost my mind) as the last track. Fun fact about lmm, hwasa composed this after a long day trying to record a song for her album, and not getting what she expected, so when she was at home and alone she had a panic attack, and to calm herself she started to humming the notes for lmm, and was able to get comfort from herself, after this she rushed back to the studio and stared to work on the song. The whole Maria album is an exploration of the darkness and goodness inside hwasa and the battle between them. She holds lmm and Maria in a special place on her heart. I’m a b for another side, was written when she was a little more happy, but with a context of a lot of pressure, she was not sure about the song for a long time, but at the end she put it out for the world, the premise is “ if the dark side of me won the battle and killed the good hwasa” so to survive in this world she had to become a real “B”, the intro in the video was a reference to Maria that wanted to “kill” the good side to survive and unlock the “b” inside herself. Is a beautiful work alone but when we see the process behind is incredible really.
Mamamoo is my favorite group and I stan all 4 of them, though Solar is my favorite singer everything all of them do is what I put on the playlist. These are my favorite two Hwasa songs and yeah it is great they all have successful solo careers and even as youtubers. The best thing about the solo careers is with the solos, group albums, subgroup(mamamoo+), OST,s collabs and covers we get 25+ songs from them every year. Last year was all about the My Con world tour which I saw in los angeles, and a lot of OSTs and more. This year has been Solo albums. Moonbyul, Wheein and Solar a few weeks ago have all released albums, Hwasa is potentially coming back with a new solo album in September.
whoooo said they didnt like the guideee :(( i too thought it was well done and captured the roots, journey, and solo works of the group. its compact, concise. anyway, grateful to see that you are exploring their solo music. no rush on reacting to all recommendations! hope you pace yourself and freely choose anything youd like to cover. :) thank you for the reaction video!
For the guide, I recommend u to check out the guide from mooyt, have 2 parts and is more recent, and have more new information too about their solo work if u wanna check out, but the 2 part is about the group and their discography, if u want to know more about the group I recommend u look up too. But have in mind that the group activities in the video was until 2021, so we had a couple of more activities in group after the video was released. A album, concerts,a world tour and a documentary for example.
For the guide we have a special one in our fandom that is really good edited and put together, by purple hawk. Is a great one, if not the best, but is a little outdated, was made in 2019, so a lot of the activities the girls did after this is not in there, but if u want to know the personalities and a little more about the dynamics is a perfect one to see.
LMM means "Lost My Mind" here is a video for you to watch, that will help explain LMM (and her "Maria" MV) Oh, and it probably would have helped to watch "Maria" first, because the outfit she is in, in the beginning of "I'm a B" is the same as the outfit from the end of "Maria". Hwa Sa said, "I'm a B" is what would happen if her members hadn't come in at the end of "Maria" and saved her, She turns into the "Bad Maria" the red haired Maria. I'm going to also link the explanation video for Hwa Sa's solo song "Twit" too, because I'm sure you will watch it, so keep this link, or just go ahead and watch it (because you will enjoy the MV even more, because you will understand what you are hearing and seeing) Hwa Sa - Maria and LMM Explained - th-cam.com/video/Pryv3Kxl9qc/w-d-xo.html Hwa Sa - Twit Explained - th-cam.com/video/EUGwqNJu24o/w-d-xo.html ~*~These videos, help explain the lyrics, because even though they have subs, unless you speak fluent Korean, or are Korean you aren't going to understand the meaning of everything. Plus it helps with the hidden meanings in the videos, and things that are connected with the Korean culture. They are truly amazing, I wish the creators had continued making them for all of her music. I know you already are a huge Hwa Sa bias, but I promise you, please watch these 2 explanation videos. Because even though it's only for 3 of her songs, after you learn more about her, and how much Hwa Sa puts into her music, it will make you love her even more. She is truly a wonderful person, and a gifted songwriter, and Artist.
Recommend guide done by purple hawke which was done amazingly to introduce the members, part 1 on solar and moonbyul th-cam.com/video/W6r-JC1fHHA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4WvhZ4lH8hKt5R67 part 2 wheein and hwasa th-cam.com/video/h5nRacz6w8w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mxkolSmcJhykuOP0 And for group introduction will be done by MooYT th-cam.com/video/UYRzCrh4avs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GQZHPJEblxT1ROX9
actually, I think it is very unnecessary to add this dance break, just like completing a compulsory task. It cuts off the rhythm of the whole song and has nothing to do with other scenes.Besides, they never show the dance break on the subsequent stage.I really don't understand, very boring.
Mamamoo is my favorite girl group wish they were as famous as black pink , cant wait for their comeback.
Once you start watching Hwasa’s MV you can’t stop watching her MV.

We are blessed to be allowed to witness the exceptional talent of Mamamoo as a group and individually ❤❤🦋❤

her voice in LMM conveys so much emotion

I'm so glad that you picked these songs! The next Hwasa songs to check are Maria and I Love My Body.
We love her too! ❤ I am waiting for her new album!!!

LMM always gives me goosebumps she sang it at an award ceremony after the actor in Parasite committed suicide.
when Hwasa came up to me and ask me if she can borrow my house for her MV i said of course anything for you girl
