How many years of surgical experience needed in my own country to get a job in UK/Australia/ NewZealand following completion of MRCS and GMC registration? Kindly help me on this. I have heard different opinions. Thank you in advance
UK: 2 years core surgical training and spring 8 years of specialist training +/- fellowship years Aus: residency + PHO years (usually 3-4 years in total) + 5 years of training +/- fellowship years
