✅ Please keep in mind, there are different strategies to solve percent problems. This video focuses on using the percent equation which can be used to set up multiple types of percent problems. We may need to find the percent, the whole amount, or the part depending on the situation, so the equation can help us organize the problem and solve. Solving percent problems without the equation is an option as well. Do whatever works best for you! This is just another option for us to use. ✅ Check out more percent problem videos here: th-cam.com/play/PLiT3pCvK_cfUHddgjTKtD6a1EOnBqnVG3.html ✅ Need more help with dividing decimals?: th-cam.com/video/zzgO732HmRo/w-d-xo.html ✅ For #1, remember, 0.80 is equivalent to 0.8. I chose to use 0.8 because it gives us less digits to have to work with. Using 0.80 would work as well. Again, they are equivalent, so either way will work. ✅ Thanks so much for watching! ✌✌✌
Mr. J!!! ❤❤❤ Thank you so much for continuing to help us. This is a huge help for my sixth grader child and myself. You explain things so much clearer than his math teacher! Please, please, please continue doing more videos for middle school level. We will continue to keep up with your channel. Im hoping that when my boy reaches high school, your videos will be available too.
Hello mr j its me the 97%guy yea its me Recently ive been watching your videos alot and it helps me alot thanks for making these videos and if you get low views dont worry some people will still find your videos usefull keep up the good work😊
I would convert to 80/100 x X = 12. That becomes 8/10 x X = 12. Becomes X = 12 x 10/8. Becomes X = 120/8. Simply to X = 30/2. So X = 15. Like the video said, whichever method one finds easier.
