Corey, Corey! You're not just a master player, you're a master teacher. You have this uncanny ability to make complicated concepts very easy to understand. Thank you and God bless you, brother.
Corey, you've helped me sooo much the past few years. Isn't it kinda wild to think that you've impacted so many students of yours who you've never even met face to face? Blessed to experience your gifts!
@@kxng_kj6631 I probably won't redo this video, but I will have many others that reference C. I encourage you to learn this in the key I played it and once you have it in one key, it will become easier to play it in another key, like C.
you were one of the channels that started my piano journey and whenever I come back i realize how little I actually know and still can learn. thanks so much for sharing your knowledge Corey!
When I was coming up pre-internet, we had NOTHING like what's available today. Now, the knowledge may be had at a click of a mouse. We all have it so good. Corey is holding nothing back. So him some love and buy a course at the very. Just about all them are under $10.00!!!! I'm saying all of this because Corey is so humble . . . BUY A COURSE! Comments don't keep the lights on!
Sir Corey Taylor, i think is very useful what you have made about this Thema about Progression!!! Thank you so much!!! Keep making that Kind of material!!!
Thank you so much Corey. . .this is really insightful and helpful to me. But. . . ...how do I come up with melodies on the fly? 'Cos in real time, the music is going on, it won't stop for me to figure melodies and them harmonize. so how do I figure out really interesting melodies to harmonize on the fly? I'd be more than glad if you can help me out on that. Thanks.
A couple of suggestions… Start creating melodies in your practice time. Start creating linear melodies that target a note. Secondly, start with small snippets of other melodies and start applying those. The idea is that you get so comfortable with these melodies that you can easily pull them and know they work. Now this process will take some time, but it can be done. And you’ll get to a point that you’ll hear melodies all the time…
Sure! I the meantime, I also have two videos that talk all about nuances. They are called 20 Piano Hacks part 1 and part 2. Here's the link - th-cam.com/video/u5v_cYsI5QA/w-d-xo.html

This is so dope Cory. Even the 2-5-1 you use to get to the IV every time I can learn from the variations you use. Amazing stuff.
Glad to help!
There is something for all skill levels in this vid. Even as an intermediate player, I can fake sounding better than I am with stuff like this 😅🔥🔥🔥
