Dark Souls: The Catacombs Conversation

The catacombs are a pretty great level in dark souls. I love all of its mischievous skeletons and secrets. Pinwheel makes up for being a bad boss by having interesting lore that fits right in with the themes of Dark Souls.

I love the catacombs, I love how we actually have incentive to craft a divine weapon.Thus incentivising us to plan our arsenal, experience multiple movesets and pay attention to enemy weaknesses.

I found the most efficient way to dispose of the old dudes is to go on suicide missions. Ignore everything and bolt straight to the guy. Get his ass and clean up later if u want to. Also there are tutorials on how to skip pretty much the whole are so gl

Hoping for a part 2 for the tomb of the giants, really enjoyed this and the way you spoke about the catacombs. I dunno maybe it’s because I’m tired but I think you came across my feed at the right time, it’s nice to see a laid back analysis of my favorite game, and yes, I’m aware of the irony of the dude with the name Ravelord nito asking for a commentary on the tomb of the giants lol.

3:16 WHAAAAAAT? THIS BLEW UP MY MIND 🤯. The catacombs are one of my favorite areas to explore in this game. I often visit it again just to explore and get lost on it’s beautiful design. In all the countless hours I’ve spent in the game, watching gameplays, guides, challenges, etc… HOW COME I HAVE NEVER FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS BONFIRE WTF?

Tip for anyone going to this annoying area: bring a weapon with a holy auxiliary, that'll stop the skeletons from respawning even if the necromancer is alive

The Bone Zone is a pleasant place and not an annoying area!(This is a joke, everyone has an opinion) I do like how there are many ways to take on the catacombs though.
