    He is great sage won more than 150crores of wealth. But his knowledge on organic farming is simply superb. Govt should take his advise and stop pesticides and fertilizers immediately to save our mother earth and our health. Promote organic farming all over India. Give all subsidies to it instead of on chemical farming.

    Shri L Narayana reddy garu is a great soul, visionary, gifted , may his soul rest in peace. It is sad and unfortunate that I have not met him when he was alive . Today I met his elder son and his wife in varthur and paid my respects to sri naryanareddy garu. It is a great loss to mankind and humanity....do not know how the future of mankind and human living will be ...

    Fukuoka has also mentioned that organic produce needs to be cheaper as compared to the one grown using chemical fertilizers and pesticides and that makes sense to me as well, I have a lot of respect for Mr. Reddy and I also wish to follow same lifestyle as his. Great inspiration for all.

      How? you're spending more time, you're yielding less... then how can one give for lower price than chemically produced?

    • @wildrangeringreen
      @wildrangeringreen ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RevealerThe you actually don't end up yielding less... This has been repeatedly shown in research into regenerative and natural farming systems. Time? if mostly what you do is plant and harvest (because you aren't tilling the soil and adding outside nutrients constantly), how is it more time?
      The issue is that "organics" became "industrial-chemical agriculture, but with approved inputs". That is what drives the cost up, not labor, not production.
      I buy $250 in cover crop seeds every year (because I don't want to grow my own seed for that), I buy $600 in crop seeds every year (same deal), I use less than 20 gallons of gas/diesel per year. Yet, I am producing $100k worth of vegetables on 0.6 acres (and that is at common retail prices, not premium). All I do is plant and harvest, with a few hours each week mowing pathways and cutting the few "weeds" that I have down to give my plants an advantage. How is that more input than chemical agriculture? I know of producers on my scale that are buying $10k just in "fertility" products and over 20 hours a week just cultivating alone... yet aren't yielding any more than I am.

      Good food is essential, if you calculate cost for each food produced, then no will able to buy, why we need to think of cost control only in farmers produce, bargain in ac showroom food crops, soft drinks, bottled water which is harmful to our own health which is costs a ltr from Rs.10-40,

    I want to punch that organizer in the face. All he want is talk about Fukuoka ideas . Yes he is great but here is a person who is the best farmer who has done even better in a few areas than Fukuoka and shared ideas that work in india. For example, fukuoka always had 10 people helping him and we won’t get any full time volunteers and not even Workers consistently for that matter. But we Indians always loves foreigners than our own people in many aspects. Always be a good listener first and ask a question. Shame on the organizer.

    Apologies, it would be frustrating trying to listen and understand his English for over 1 1/2 hours. I wish that I had the patience because I’m interested to learn his exceptions to Fukuoka’s methods. I realize English is not his native language, and I don’t speak a word of his language. I’m not finding fault with him, it is my fault for lacking the patience.
