Hello sir I will try to explain what I am asking . Normally we use "there" for showing existence (person, something ) like this There is a pen. Above after "there is" has come a noun But here sentences follow this structure There+ is/are + verb3/verb ing+ object (original subject) As. There is killed ravan on stage. There is lying a book. Aslo this is used in clauses As. This is the place where there is given a book. Can we use like these sentences If these structures are correct And any exception in these structures. So please tell me Because it is very important for my exams. Please reply 🙏🙏
The structure you described, "there + is/are + verb-ing + object," is not considered standard English grammar. "There is" and "there are" are typically used to indicate the existence of a noun, as in "there is a pen" or "there are many pens." It is not correct to use "there is" or "there are" followed by a verb in the -ing form or a past participle. For example, the sentence "There is killed Ravan on stage" is not grammatically correct. A correct version would be "Ravan was killed on stage." Similarly, "There is lying a book" is not a grammatically correct sentence. A correct version would be "A book is lying there." In the clause "This is the place where there is given a book," the use of "there is given" is not grammatically correct. A correct version would be "This is the place where a book is given." In general, it is best to avoid using "there + verb-ing" or "there + past participle" in your writing or speech, as it is considered incorrect grammar.

Hello sir
I will try to explain what I am asking . Normally we use "there" for showing existence (person, something ) like this
There is a pen.
Above after "there is" has come a noun
But here sentences follow this structure
There+ is/are + verb3/verb ing+ object (original subject)
As. There is killed ravan on stage.
There is lying a book.
Aslo this is used in clauses
As. This is the place where there is given a book.
Can we use like these sentences
If these structures are correct
And any exception in these structures.
So please tell me
Because it is very important for my exams.
Please reply 🙏🙏
"There is lying a book." is not correct grammatically. "There lies a book." Or, "A book is lying there."
A correct version would be "Ravan was killed on stage."
Similarly, "There is lying a book" is not a grammatically correct sentence. A correct version would be "A book is lying there."
In the clause "This is the place where there is given a book," the use of "there is given" is not grammatically correct. A correct version would be "This is the place where a book is given."
In general, it is best to avoid using "there + verb-ing" or "there + past participle" in your writing or speech, as it is considered incorrect grammar.
