Let's say it as it is. The Yoruba people took a stand against Tinubu in Lagos on Feb 25th, and this is because he doesn't represent the interest of the Yoruba people, and all Nigerians in general. Intelligent Yorubas know this.

I felt so much pride working as a party Agent at the same polling unit with Prof Dele Farotimi, he said that truth that in his unit they were still counting votes around 1:30.am, I took a picture with this great man that day, when P.O becomes president, I'll put the picture on my wall, at home and office.

Funny enough, he’s not interested in becoming a governor but interested in seeing right things being done. @@okeoja4447 You're missing the point. Wherever Obi won, it was a landslide, including Lagos by the way. The point is people are fed up with the APC and see no future with them and they demonstrated it across the board.
Even if we are talking about zoning, equity, justice and fairness, it is right that there is an Igbo presidency, and expectedly the SE would vote massively because they have never been given a chance at the Presidency.
However this is not the only reason people voted for him enmasse, to peddle tribalism as a factor for Obi's success is a lie.
Unless you haven't been around this whole time, his integrity, character, sincerity of purpose and running a clean, issues based campaign alone made people sit up and listen before going into his competence, commitment and ethnic group. You think if he was a monster like other politicians he would be this successful in the elections?? Maybe fellow monsters would back him but not decent God fearing folk.
So yes the SE voted massively, but guess what so did Lagos, FCT, Plateau, Benue, Rivers, Nasarrawa and so on...last time I checked Igbos aren't the dominant ethnic group in those states.
