Dear viewers. Finally I managed to release the 1st part of the new series. I really want to see your comments, observations and impressions. I understand that in the first part it will most likely be difficult for you to get used to the design, understand many incomprehensible and quick situations, and also have time to count points, but I think that over time you will get the hang of it. Unfortunately, I will add information about the situation due to which I had to postpone the release of the series by a day. The excellent quality of the video on my computer is slightly degraded by TH-cam when loading, adding “blurriness” in some places. Therefore, for the next part I will try to analyze the problem and find some way out, most likely through replacing some elements. Since the first part is somewhat experimental, for the second part I will review your main comments and make a number of small changes, without changing the main concept. I hope for your understanding and wish everyone success and good impressions when passing the quiz!
@@christopherpickles7541 Congratulations on a good result. There is logic and sense in your proposal, but there is something from the original game Jeopardy in the random selection of category and difficulty, such an illusion of player choice. Thanks for your feedback.
Wow, really nice new concept, good initiative. Got 73 out of 100, not so bad, I am looking forward to the next time, thanks for your work, it's highly appreciated.
I loved this format, listened to it with my boyfriend again, and we got 86! Had so much fun, one of the most fun formats, along with the soundtrack or classical series. Only suggestion is to maybe vary the music between rounds? Maybe even different pieces depending on what difficulty level each question is.
72/100 Fun format. The music between each guess drove me completely mad at the end. And difficulty could maybe ranged a bit more (making 8 points really harder than the 6).
43/100. I think I worked that out correctly: it was a little confusing but became easier along the way. I agree with others' comments about the music between sections: it was distracting. Continuing the previous piece but fading it out slowly might work better, but I understand you are experimenting with the new format so no worries! I enjoyed this a lot and look forward to the next round. 👍👍👍👍👍
Got 30. Thanks to Strauss, I am always astonished how many of these I know. The format is fun. What I didn´t enjoy so much was the repetitive music in between the guesses, I had problems to concentrate, my brain was confused by this. I´d rather have no music between the pieces I have to guess. Thanks, Dmitrii.
Apparently it's a matter of perception. After all, when preparing the quiz and its subsequent repeated viewing, I listened to Delibes at least 500 times and didn’t even pay attention to it)) I’ll think about what to do about it, but I don’t know for sure yet.
I really like this new quiz format. However I did much better when I looked away and just listened. I scored 88, but this was a really fun quiz. By the way, what's with all the Strauss?
56/100. This was a lot of fun. The Strauss/Movie categories were the toughest for me overall. I was a bit confused by the initial layout but soon picked it up. I think this is a great format! Spasibo.
Thank you for leaving a comment. Naturally, the first part of the new series should be as simple as possible, even if there are complex and expert questions. Of course, everything will be a little more complicated further))
79/100 points. It's a fun format, but I felt like I needed to grab a pencil and paper to keep track of things (which I don't do on the usual 15 question format). While it might get cramped on the display, it might be easier to keep track of if you put the names of the pieces in the squares after the question was completed, because it's actually pretty easy to remember which individual pieces you got if you can see the answers. After the 4-point symphony clue, I was wondering what symphony would be more instantly recognizable/iconic as the 2-pointer, assuming that it wasn't likely to be by the same composer. I guessed correctly what it would be. Also, I am apparently just congenitally bad at identifying the Rachmaninov symphonies (unless it's the big tune from #2). I thought the "Strauss" category was cute because there were basically three likely composers in the category, but that's also where I missed a fair number of points.
Thank you for the very detailed review. In principle, I like the proposal with the appearance of names, but I’m still thinking about how best to do this, because there is very little space on the screen, and removing stamps is technically not very easy. The first idea that came to my mind now is to display a summary table with all the names at the very end.
46/100. Different, so took a little getting used to. My most embarrassing moment: I was so concerned with the country for one of the pieces in that category, I forgot to name the composer to myself, although I knew that, so no points. I'd like to see some more like this.
Very interesting concept but I wouldn't mind if you kept the pieces' names on the pictures after revealing them so it would be easier to count the points. I'm not sure of my total count but I must be somewhere under 70.
I’ll try to add names to the release of the next part, but I don’t want to remove the brands just yet (maybe I’ll change my mind). For now, I’m leaning towards creating a final list with all the names. Thanks for your comment.
58/100, counting composers and piece titles but not film titles. It’s fun to score myself! But I had to mute the Delibes every time. (The timing is good, but I don’t want to hear an excerpt of ANY piece repeated 20 times. Especially with listening quizzes, I would prefer silence to music filler.) The difficulty rankings seem fair. Most of the pieces I know, I recognized in the first 2 seconds.
Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the repetition of the same music during pauses, I understood that I needed to take something not distracting, but apparently I need to find very simple background music or do it as before, just continue playing the chosen piece. In general, I will think about this issue. I haven’t thought about doing silence yet, but maybe it’s worth testing this option.
I missed the answers the first time because I was writing them down on a piece of paper, and didn't realize you were answering them as you went. I thought the countries were for the composer's nationality at first too, so I wrote France for Saint-Saens and Germany for Mendelssohn heh. Not a bad variant on the quiz though, I nailed the Strauss category at least.
There really was a little confusion with the countries, but this is just a minor problem. Regarding the titles, I will think about how to display composers and titles in the final table. Thank you for your feedback.

75, could be worse.
I suggest start with the easy ones and then get harder, that would be easier to follow than jumping around.

Great new format! Very entertaining! I scored only 53 but had fun. Thanks.

40/100 ! A lot of fun, thank you
That's really good, I like it! Forgot to count, but I think I'm with 60 % about.
Thank you, it's really enjoying.
51/100. Very enjoyable format. It didn't take long to understand how it works. Thanks!
thank you! I found it fun and a few were challenging. More please! Good work.
Thanks for your feedback. There will definitely be a continuation, or rather it already exists))

59/100, randomly guess the composer for symphony 8 and got 4 points for not knowing it :)

Looks like Strauss sniped a section that wasn't even his. What a showboater
That’s an interesting video. I think this time you chose all famous pieces and I got 100/100. It is easier than your previous hard/expert videos.

@ I see. It is a pretty nice video, also hope to learn more in the future.
65. You are very generous, Dmitri, to you use the same cuts as in the previous quizzes, probably I would have scored a bit less.
17/20 - not bad. Like the other poster below, I first found the instructions a bit confusing but then realised how it worked.
I also notice that reading instructions is more tiring, but it’s more convenient to understand the concept during the game itself))

Why does Strauss get a whole section? He thinks he is so special?
‘He’ didn’t, one of the four was a Strauss from an unrelated family.
@@timweather3847There are actually five pieces by ‘Strauss’ in this quiz. They must be special. 😅
