LEGO Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera Review - Set # 21345

The LEGO Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera might just be the BEST LEGO set of 2024, in my opinion. This set features a realistic brick-built model of the Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera and includes the viewfinder, Color Spectrum and exposure compensation dial and contains 3 illustrated ‘photos’, including one of Polaroid inventor Edwin H. Land. Choose a photo, load it into the camera, press the red shutter button and the photo is ejected, just like the real thing.
I really love this set, and I think this video will show you why.

I bought and built that, it is a fun build and I like the action feature.
One thing I found interesting and a little disappointing isn’t to do with the set itself but the box. Is this the first time a Lego Ideas set has come in a normal box with thumb tabs? I’m sure all the other Ideas sets I bought had a nicer constructed box with a fold over lid, if you know what I’m talking about.
Another thing I found interesting was in your set you had plastic numbered bags where as mine were paper, in fact that was the first and, so far, only time I had the paper bags.

After saying the Polaroid camera was the only set I had so far with the paper bags instead of plastic I’ve just opened 7629 Spider-Man Race Car & Venom Green Goblin and that has paper bags. One difference is even though the Polaroid set had paper bags the ones that contain the smaller parts inside the larger bags were still plastic, however the ones in this Spider-Man set they are paper as well.

Also, I feel like the last few ideas sets have been the more regular tape/ tab boxes.. is LEGO doing away with the nice fold up boxes?
