Well, I do get why people don't like Slovenia's entry. It's repetitive and predictable, which would normally have to place it dead last, and yet...idk, the way he sings that "on my waaaaay" kind of charms me...but I definetly see what's so wrong with it. Robin's placement left me literally speechless. I really don't... _feel_ the song, and yet it climbed up so easily. When I saw it winning Melodifestivalen, I was like "wait...who's the winner again?", but when we lost the top 5 to Sweden, I really thought there had to be something wrong with my reasoning settings XD
Yeah, I like Sweden's song, I do, but the beat is kinda makes my skin crawl, and the lyrics are so repetitive, I mean the top 3 songs this year had great production value and clearly a lot of effort put into them, but Sweden feels like "okay, so we're Sweden, so we're probably getting in the top 5 because Sweden always does since 2011 (except for 2013 people didn't like that one), so idk let's just put some good-looking people on stage, and uhh, treadmills, oh and nice suits. Uh, and the song? Psssshhh, don't worry, people won't pay attention to that." I'll give Robin this though, I like his song a whole lot more than Sweden's 2016 song ^^

I'm glad that Europe did understand the song without knowing Portuguese. I don't know if you ever saw the translation (I can give it to you), the lyrics are so simple yet touching and beautiful-sounding!

I looked up the lyrics, and they're very nice and poetic and beautiful, but personally I don't find them very interesting, they're a little generic for me, but the song is in Portuguese which is a nice language so I don't hold it against the song, I still think it's great ^^

You're right, but I'm not going to use the full versions of Love Is In Bloom this time because they were only promotional and not really from any dub, I'm also not going to include the Dutch full version for the same reason, but if I had included that Italian singer she would've been pretty high because her voice is very nice :D
It's not a big favorite of mine, but I do think there are some good parts, I like the way she sings the chorus, I like the instrumentation in the chorus too, but I don't like the lyrics so I'm a little torn on the song :P

If you felt bad for Manuel Navarro let me tell you that the poor guy seemed to be the butt of the joke of almost all Spain. There are millions of memes out there comparing him with a rooster, even I saw them and i'm not even a Spaniard.....but well, the song is bad anyways.
