My fiancée and I have gone every year since we started dating (getting married August 24th). This will be the 4th year staying at Hotel Breakers for two nights. It reminds me of a resort in Cancun. There's nothing like the experience. There is no place like Cedar Point/Breakers.

We get a 10th floor Horizon Lake View Suite every year for a Thursday Night/Friday Night on HalloWeekends. Hit a few rides and every Scare on Thursday night and then rides/shows all day Friday. Drive home Saturday. There are 2 10th floor Horizon suites and both have great park and lake views. Great to be able to go back periodically and relax in the room for a bit.
Hotel Breakers, The Boardwalk, and Cedar Point Beach are quite the special places on that peninsula, even though some aspects of it are pricey. Sometimes it's hard to believe that you're in Ohio when you're there. Would like to see you explore Lighthouse Point and the camping areas in the future. There is yet another pool and hot tub back there. The guy on the trike that gave you a lift does historical tours on the Boardwalk and Lighthouse Point, and he has some vast knowledge of the park's history. Hoping Andrew can come back for a gathering later this year.

Andrew those abs really be abbing!! I love the breakers! Try and stay at least once every year and the balcony is a must! I also bring my own coffee pot 😊
There's Mac's in every room? ; ) I go to CP to get away from mine. 10:20 Polar Bear Plunge! CP did that for a Red Cross charity event off the beach in 2011. The event used to be miniature golf at Challenge Golf before it was Hotel Breaker's parking lot. (It was a charity Dick Kinzel's wife was involved in)
I love how you have to tell people the room does not come with a Mac. 😂🖥️ At 2:05, that made me laugh so hard! Believe it or not, I used to travel with my iMac when I was on the road doing editing jobs for people. They actually make special cases for people to travel with those huge computers!
Another entertaining video. I've stayed at Breakers several times, but never used any of the pools or fitness center. It's pretty silly that the outdoor pools aren't heated at all, or maybe (as I think you said) they just turned the heat off to save a few pennies. Cedar Point? More like Cheap-out Point.
I think it's safe to say I like hotel breakers! My only real criticism is I wish the room furniture was a bit nicer, and balconies on the park view side. But aside from that, I love the architecture of the old part of the hotel. Staying there and being steps away from one of the best parks in the world, and the beautiful beach can't be beat. Every day when the afternoon heat would start to get to me, is go back to the room for a quick snack, and a drink from the surf lounge. Truly a must do experience for any amusement park lover! And 1 tip for my fellow coffee drinker... The line for Starbucks can back all the way to the lobby in the morning. If you see that, head over to Perkins, you can buy a coffee to go right from the register up front

I don't have my big iMac anymore because I traded it for the 2013 smaller Mac Pro, which I can just put in a book bag because it's so small! 😂 I used to have a carrying case just like you do. Great vid!! I stayed at the Breakers in October 2022. I was honestly kind of disappointed. Soooooo basic. Kind of like a fancy Motel 6 but not even a coffeemaker!!
We've been to Breakers a few times over the years and it always feels like a bit of a rip off to me. The only thing I feel I get my moneys worth is from being so close to the park so I dont have to worry about driving after a couple gunslingers 😅 After this last trip, we promised not to "waste" the money again. If you dont already have park tickets, it may be a good deal, but $300-$500+/night isn't justified in my book. IMO the staff and beds are better at the Super 8 and you get breakfast. You did a great video there 👏
My wife, daughter and niece made your video. They are just inside the park when you walk by. They said they saw you filming and didn't want to interrupt you two.
If I rent a room at Hotel Breakers, does it come with a shirtless BUFF Andrew?? I have to invite him...where do I sign up?? Just did and it was ok. Staff wasn’t amazing… and the room we were in was a bit bootsy
